Female celebs aren’t the only ones vain enough to go under the knife. Many male celebrities share that weakness and Shin Hye Sung is one of them. I’m not sure when his transformation occurred, but it’s apparent from the not so cool hip hop wannabe picture from early Shinhwa days that this balladeer did in fact go under the knife. The new double eye lids made Shin Hye Sung look friendlier and more approachable, but they also made him look a lot older with excessive number of eye wrinkles. But I gotta give Shin credit for keeping his new eyes a low profile, until now. Was Shin Hye Sung’s transformation necessary?

I think he looks better after having gone under the knife, but he seriously needs to lose the wrinkles around his eyes. That’s just…ewww. lol Isn’t he too young to be having wrinkles there just yet?
OMO! Shin Hyesung. Hmm what can I say. I honestly dont care if he had plastic or not cos he was already cute to begin with. AND, even if he had plastic surgery, so what? Its just double eyelids. Its his responsibility to look good and cute in the first place. Or how else is Shinhwa going to be so famous? Entertainers live by their FACE and of course, talent(which can be found anywhere), must be better than ordinary ppl. Thats what seperates entertainers from, well you know, ordinary people.

Like just about every other person up there has said, HyeSung looks fine the way he is and even if somehow he had gone under the knife I’m sure it’s no big deal.

“Kangta’s hair” my ass. That hair was popular during Kangta’s period, but he sure as hell didn’t start it. The makeup in the first picture is hideous, and the second picture is just a bad picture of him. And you do get wrinkles when you age, ever thought of that?

Popseoul i think you need to use better pic to make a comparison. The time frame difference is about 10 years and wrinkles are bound to show up. About the double eyelid surgery, if you look at his previous pics you will see he has always had them.

i believe that everyone in showbizness in korea have their plastic surgery, some stars they hide it pretty well, but easy enough that you can tell the difference.but who cares the most important is their character. its fashion in america why not there(korea) if you can afford to do it why not, just to boost your self steem. nobody’s perfect in this world ,dont criticize others just because you dont like it, if you don’t have anything better to say’ don’t say anything at all. and maybe look twice in the mirror you might be surprise what you gonna see.no plastic with plastic i like them.

How do you know he didn’t develop them over time?? If he had plastic surgery, wouldn’t he have other things done as well? I developed my double eyelids as I grew up. Although I only fully have mine on one eye and the other is still growing.

If it was Ur intention to to make an argument against plastic surgery, U could have made an better argument. If it’s just Ur personal disfavor toward Shin Hye-sung, could U be more respectful & consider how U Urself would feel if U heard someone make illogically attack like this? it is not just his eyelid surgery but look at his cheeks and face all around is so puffy. he looks like that fashion guy cujo. STOP WITH ALL THE SURGERY. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL THE WAY YOU ARE BORN.
p.s.: the majority of humans are asians (over 4 billion) so the whole thing about eyelid surgery to fit in is a stupid lie. they just want to look more white that is why they have nose surgery done as well. to me there is nothing more beautiful than a natural asian (specifically korean men). stop letting hollywood tell you what is beautiful and look in the mirror because that is who you have to live with, that is the person who will be there and love you all your life not some celebrity, casting director or magazine editor that you will never meet. lets move forward and do what dr. king says “judge not by the color of skin but by the context of character”
