600 dedicated Elves gathered in front of SM office in Apku-jung again to protest the formation of the subgroup, Super Junior-China and adding Henry, the talented violinist to the mega group. SM hasn’t released an official statement concerning the manner, but they prepared for the Elves battle by securing 100 Kangnam police officers nearby.
I’m not surprised that these crazy fangirls are overreacting to SM’s plans for Super Junior, but I was somewhat impressed with their rational plan of action. They received legal clearance for their protest and they announced that they will boycott SM’s products in the future. In addition, they plan to create “Super Junior has only 13 members” propaganda online.
Regardless of these protests, SM should go on with their original plan because Super Junior badly needs talent in their group, but what do you think? Will SM succumb to the Elves’ request or will SM proceed with their Super Junior China plans?

From what I’m reading, have read and done some research on my own, it seems to me that the Korean society is very confusing to me at least. Now calm down people let me explain what I mean.
So your not accepting of foreigners: giving Hangeng a bag of blood, looking down on foreigners because your citizens want to date them, treating darker skin humans like second class citizens (animals), etc.. the list go on because they are not Korean. Fine have no problem with that but what I don’t understand is why if you dislike foreigners so much do you try to look like them by doing surgery (eye lids, nose, chins), imitating there culture and if someone will please explain what is up with blue eye contacts um… yeah.
So, is it okay to only to imitate hip-hop and R&B but to look down on the people who made it what it is today, or do surgery to look like the people who you publicly name as devils because their dating your citizens.
It disturbs me to know that I might be supporting a culture that is close-minded. So if someone could at least help me to save that last bit of interest I have of the Korean culture please do. I wanted to visit in the past but if they are this harsh to their own citizens why would they care about another human being who happen to be a foreigner.
P.S. I know that no one country is prefect but why act as if one is culturally aware and accepting when indeed one is not. I know this is not true of all citizens but its enough that its an issue.

I’m a huge SuJu fan and I don’t really care if they add Henry, one more member won’t hurt. It’s not like it’s taking anything away from Super Junior (because normally if you have a fav you only pay attention to them :p) he’s just adding some more talent and interest. Now, if the group gets to 20 members then I’ll start to question if all the members will even be able to fit on stage or even dance together. I like the number 13 but 14’s not that bad either ^-^

erm..hello i think the fans are missing the big point which is..;.SM created super junior and he can do whatever he wants with them because he formed the group and if the fans are gonna boycott SM products than the people they’re affecting the most isn’t SM or LSM it’s the artists, so basically it’s the fans who are hurting suju the most.
Also if suju members were normal members of public they would probably not be liked by a majority of their current fan club

I think that this is great. I’m glad that Super Junior has such supportive and protective fans. I am against Super Junior China. Super Junior is not a project group anymore. It is a formal group, you cannot just add another member. SM cannot make Super Junior a project group again if they do then what next? Loosing a member? These boys are more than just a boy band. They are brothers before they are members of Super Junior. I like Henry and he does have great talent but not with Super Junior. He is better as a solo artist.
