you guys, be reasonable. i understand most of you are her fans, but seriously, she will never be half as famous as lucy liu. and that’s sad b/c lucy liu is not even that popular among non-asians. that vampire movie might give her a few very small pictures in some random magazines. but she’s definitely not going to sweep america.

For one, why the Lucy Liu comparison? LL might have the “bigger” name with the American audience but I dare say Jeon Ji Hyun is far more adored with the Asian audience (not just in Asia.)
I’m not saying she is going to turn the world upside down with Blood, & quite honestly I don’t think that’s JJH’s intent with it. If it were the case she would not have chosen a film that’s immediate fans are from such a niche market.
