In the mother tongue, “Fahrenheit” becomes “Parenheit”. puhaha.

Check out So Ji-sub’s photo spread in the woman’s fashion monthly, W Magazine (Korea, November 2007) based the concept of the U.S. film, Brown Bunny. Many consider it as the worst movie ever. The photos were taken by famous photog who is known for his provocative style, Terry Richardson.

Puking I couldnt agree more. Its not about what it SHOWS its about what it IMPLIES. And high fashion? Dude, Im a professional model, I model ‘high fashion’ ‘low fashion’ and ‘retail items’ and have been modeling for over 10 years. I dress incredibly scandalously sometimes, pose with men in underwear, but this is not fashion at all. It is tasteless, and revolting. I can no longer look at the pictures. Nor is it an ad (my day job as graphic designer and marketing tells me that) nor is it remotely decent looking/feeling.

I couldn’t disagree with you more. First, to answer your questions, yes, yes, sometimes, and my reasons to go into design is none of your business and is irrelevant to way I feel about these photos. You’re quick to jump the gun to imply that I don’t know otherwise, just because those photos did not provoked me as they did for others. Here are some of my questions to you. Am I not allow to have my own opinion just because it disagrees with some of yours? Does it make me “less holier than thou” because I’m not writing ‘eeew, gross, that’s not high fashion, those photos are disgusting, I want to puke my guts out right now’?
And lastly, if people are so bothered by these photos, stop looking at them. SJS and the photographer aren’t making you look at their photoshoot against your own wishes, Popseoul even posted a warning, heck, some of you even came back to look at them. Sounds like a lot of hens making a lot of noise over something that can be ignored if you have some self-control.
