Under appreciated actress Kim Gyu-ri was more known for her clothing line business than her acting career, but now she’ll be synonymous with plastic surgery gone bad. From her recent pictures, it’s obviously that Kim Gyu-ri completely re-did her face. Her eyes are still puffy from another round of double eye-lid surgery, her lips are grossly plump after filler injections and her jaw line is disgustingly sharp.
What caused this once pretty actress to turn to plastics? Was she that upset that her screen lover Lee Seo Jin left her for Kim Jung Eun on screen (Lovers) and in real life? Or did she think that she needed a new face as a CEO?

I am utterly sad for her! She did kill her face (like someone already said). It must be devastating (for her) to look at herself everyday in the mirror. Surgery gone bad. Poor thing.

I don’t care if she or any other person wants to have cosmetic surgery. Look at Kim Ajoong and several former Miss Korea contestants, they look 100X better now and if not for the surgery would NOT be working today and would NOT be splashed across the web for everyone to diss, admire, and comment on.
But wow, she should leak her surgeon’s name on the web so everyone can avoid them.
I have a theory that some of the worst plastic surgery cases in Korean celebs were done in Japan. Kim Gyuri’s surgery mishap looks eerily similar to Shoo’s. Shoo speaks Japanese and has worked and lived in Japan so hey, that’s my theory.
Even if the plastic surgery had been “done right” — the aesthetic is just off. It’s not Korean.
BTW, I’ve seen non-celeb cases of people getting ‘V-line’ or face lipo or whatever it is that thins out the neck and jaw line — I would advise AGAINST. I’ve seen some startling pics even just on MySpace or Friendster and the people think they look good. But it’s just…unnatural, extreme, unbalanced and not pleasing. Like, you have a fully chubby face and all of a sudden a tight, thinned out jaw and neck…no.
Damn…I would get plastic surgery to look like her before. D:
