Poor Joo Jinmo – Jo Insung shows his true colors

071205-brokeback3

What are those colors? Well, they are the colors of the rainbow.

The manly Joo Jinmo and effeminate Jo (Zo) Insung will star in the new Korean Brokeback style movie by director Yoo Ha (Dirty Carnival). The new movie, Ssang-hwa-jeom (쌍화점) is set in the historical Goryo era where Jo In-sung plays a bi-sexual warrior who helps chase the gay king’s loneliness away (played by Joo Jin-mo).

Ssang-hwa-jeon refers to the dumpling (mandu) house during the Koryo era. The movie is expected to be released in 2008.

This is Jo In-sung and Joo Jin-mo’s first movie together.

its sounds gross to me when I heard this. they better have a good script for this movie so the audience have interest and good expectation to watch the movie. anyway both of them are good and professional actors, so I have great expectations for their act. cant hardly wait!!!!

oh So king and the clown-ish…

haahaa what’s up with korea??? I mean they actually incite these kind of stuff… I dont know if I should be disgusted or disturbed… I mean, they actually incite men+men relationships in dramas and movies and in thier sitcoms.. not to mention its ok for them seeing those kpop boygroups oggling each other..

remind me again that korean fans are not insane…?

sorry hehe! so girls get turned on by this???? ewww! men get turned on by women+women so females should be turned on with men+men… whattheheck???

  9. 9 ew December 6, 2007 at 10:11 am

yeah, some korean are so closeminded with gay stuffs but when it comes to gay loving in movie/drama/tv/music they all get drooly…. They say if you’re a gay or lesbian in korea you’d be treated like an outcast.. but if its in tv/movie its ok…!
    duh.

Uhm, @ew. Not really. Korean fangirls “oogle” at members of boybands who show affection toward each other and have some “gay” moments, because they know that they’re not really gay. They know that its because they know that they’re close enough to kid around, and they think its cute.
Gay loving in movies, dramas, and tv? What the hell are you talking about? I’ve seen a LOT of dramas (believe me when I say a lot), and there were no gay couples so far..The King and the Clown being an exception of course. And if your talking about fake mini-dramas where guys joke around (particularly Suju)- its all because they know that they’ll get attention from fangirls out there. There are a few queer yaoi fangirls though, who actually do want a sexual-relationship between guys..which is uhm…yeah.

    Oyasuminasai!

I SERIOUSLY think Joo Jin Mo is too ‘man’ for Jo In-sung. I love JJM more so I prefer a female to co-star with him and fall greatly in love with JJM. Gosh………..Why put JJM in such awkward situation as a gay king!

    AW HELL NAW!!!

  14. 14 Bubblez December 29, 2007 at 7:25 pm

Man, this is the one movie i’m not looking forward to a kissing scene. I cant picture JJM kissing JIS!

  15. 15 mich January 7, 2008 at 1:27 pm

i hate that guy, joo whatever!!! i mean he doesnt deserve or anyone for that matter to even stand an inch closer to in-sung!!! honestly that movie kinda made him open to public scrutiny and vulnerable to gender issues and in due fairness to him, he doesnt care an iota!!!! go, In-sung you dont have to prove yourself or your worth to anyone!!! you are so like roarke in the fountainhead, only real artists are capable to be themselves and not somebody else’s creation!!!

  16. 16 starbrite January 15, 2008 at 3:00 pm

Wow..JIS and JJM in a gay movie…can’t and don’t want to image it..hehe. But I am glad both are taking on a different role, I think it will help boost their acting career. I have notice most gay or homo movie usually gets some kind of recognition or award.

I like both but my taste more goes to Jin Mo.Excited to watch what you can do your best in your new movie, Frozen Flowers. I absolutely trust you, Jin Mo that you are the best whatever the character is.All the best!

the trailer looks epic believe it or not. i think it kills me more to see jo insung kissing a female co-star rather than when he kissed jjm.

    cheers.
