its marketing… commercials or marketing campaigns use the best theme for people to remember the endorser and the product being endorsed… best theme include even not so pleasing and irritating acts or costumes or ideas or even people just so the people will get to remember especially the product being endorsed… best theme also include on how to catch the attention of the market (or group) the company wishes to target to buy the product…
that’s why we always say “its the best…, its a good commercial…, its not the best, its not her/his best, its irritating, its childish…etc..etc…” but in a way, we get to remember the endorser and the product he/she endorses….

I think she looks cute~ I like her attitude and what I think the promoters are going for is a fun, careless, free pitch and by using Hyori, who is probably the sexiest girl in Korea, then dressing her in a not-so-flattering way, makes millions of girls able to relate to her, thus conjuring up the underlying notion that THAT particular soju brand represents carefree fun.
P.S. it was kinda, sorta funny when popseoul said the constipated comment but everyone else’s thereafter just sounded retarded.
