Jun Jin wants to be your stylist

20071218_junjin

Shinhwa member Jun Jin started an e-commerce site called docovo, following the lead of other celebrities who are using their fame to sell clothes. Although many star CEOs have failed in the past, Jun Jin is confident that he will succeed since he’s actively involved in every aspect of the business. That remains to be seen since the only thing special about Jun JIn’s s e-commerce site is unlimited pictures of Jun Jin, but check out docovo’s menswear, womenswear and tips on how to style your clothes here and let us know what you think.

I think it’s annoying how celebs think they can branch out into fashion. Like in America, every celeb nowadays has a perfume or clothing line. As if they know anything about fashion! They just have people do all the work for them! I didn’t visit this guys site so I don’t know about him…so I can’t criticize him…yet.

Just visited the site. Not bad.

haha, the pictures look cool! :D

Dunno about the materials used, but the Men’s clothes seem to be both stylish and very wearable, IMO. I can see stylish men wearing those clothes. The Women’s stuff are good too, some a bit too complicated for my taste, but I’m definitely liking a lot of the outfits, and even the bags.

Wow I thought I visited dahong.co.kr instead. The site looks almost exactly as Dahong site. I wonder if it’s somehow related.

I think it’s natural for a celebrity to use his or her celebrity status to market the stuff they’re selling. What’s important is that they don’t rely solely on such. In fact, I think it’s laudable for the celeb to actually have a hands-on approach to the business they’re venturing into, like any businessman or woman would. What’s important is that they actually know what they are selling and that the stuff they do sell is actually worth buying.

PS. Sorry, too many “actually” in my post, LOL

~*~*I checked out his site and, yeah, there were a lot of pictures of himself modeling the clothes. However, they weren’t bad pictures.

His men’s clothing line was good. I would definitely check out a guy wearing some of that clothing. But, the women’s clothing I wasn’t feeling it all that much. I think he needs a few more designs b/c he did not have a lot to select from when it came to women’s clothing.*~*~

But I did like it. :)

seriously…so much cheaper than the places i shop in nyc- and the styles are so similar!!! fashion has been evolving at a faster rate…is it even worth it anymore?

its nice for these stars to venture into something else aside from being involved in the entertainment business… at least they have fall back positions…

  13. 13 heyleadinglady December 18, 2007 at 7:41 pm

    I WAAAAANT
And not because I’ve been deprived of shopping lately, or because I like Jun Jin, but I think they’re pretty dope. I need to do some money conversion now..

  14. 14 Malou December 18, 2007 at 7:53 pm

Actually, I did some converting a while ago, too… the prices aren’t bad at all! Of course, I’ll have to check if the quality of the clothes is good, too ^^

  15. 15 diem December 18, 2007 at 8:11 pm

wow…i really like the clothing…both men and women. It looks very wearable and stylish. I just don’t understanding the pricing since I’m here in America.

  21. 21 Star December 19, 2007 at 7:26 am

Celebrities use their fame and make clothing and perfume and cologne lines. Even if the style isnt good bc of their fans they get ALOT sold!
What can u say?? Jun Jin is so cute! I thought the clothes for the guys were very stylish. The girls clothes were stylish as well. Minwoo is awesome at designing and Jun Jin is great too! Go Jun Jin!!

  22. 22 jjhero December 19, 2007 at 7:46 am

  23. 23 Rayne December 19, 2007 at 8:16 am

it’s not that bad, but yeah. it’s very cliche- having a fashion line after yourself… stay a CELEB- not a designer…yeesh,

With the 70s and 80s back in style, I just loving vintage clothing from the thrift shops. You can find designers like Chanel and Armani for cheap there. Ebay is great too!
