People have different tastes. If it doesn’t suit your taste, don’t think everyone will agree with you as if you’re the only one who matters in this world. eg. those who doesn’t like the shirt because it’s “tasteless” to them.
I don’t like that shirt, too, but it is so unfair to judge one person because he prefers to wear something he thinks is okay to wear. It is his opinion also, just like how you think he is this and that.
Also, don’t go connecting all the bad things in this world with one thing that Rain does.

The publicity about the shirt will in no way hurt Rain in the USA and his career there. Although, there is a large portion of people in the US that are more conservative about public nudity than a lot of places in Europe and Asia, they always expect entertainers in Hollywood to do things that they would not want to do themselves. There is a saying in Hollywood that “bad publicity is better than no publicity”. You notice that even jail time by stars doesn’t seem to matter in a stars popularity.
Johnny Depp was a really “bad boy” for many years until he began having children and he “mellowed out”. Stars even like to go onto TV shows and tell about how they have taken drugs, etc., etc. because it gives them publicity when their careers are not doing so well. Besides Rain isn’t even known much in the US and people are not interested in what he is wearing.
Some people say Rain is dumb…but Rain is anything but dumb. He is naive in many ways to know what is acceptable to some people, and for one I’m glad that he may be finding out through this experience. Too much time on the corners learning to dance with “the bad boys” have no doubt affected his attitude about some things. It is just one of the many sides to Rain that to me makes him an interesting and fascinating person. I’m sure this affects what he brings to the characters he plays in movies, dramas, and his performing as a singer/dancer.
If fans want Rain only to be sweet and a 100% nice person all of the time they will be disappointed. He is those things, but there is more to him than that…..thank goodness!
Shirt or no shirt. Rain should be thankful for the free publicity. Most of us don’t even know what he is doing (and don’t quote news saying he’s doing movie or album – cos his plans seem to change all the time!!!). He seems to have dug a hole in the USA and disappeared into it. WTF. Can’t stand it every time he goes there. There’s absolutely zero news.

actually the new paper is more of a tabloid than a broadsheet (main daily) here in s’pore. i usu buy it daily but almost forgot to on the day in question.
My sister who hates rain was the one who happened to buy it and told me ” ur fave star is in the news again” .
