E, as a girl honestly I’m just mildly offended just because it’s Rain and it’s on tv. under appropriate circumstances, posing nude, showing boobies is acceptable. Printing it on tees is a bit tacky, but if the person wearing it does not stick his silly face on tv, that’s fine too. And I contend that it’s not “just a shirt”. People dress to express themselves. If he chooses to express himself that way, then that’s what he’s all about.

Concerning the “FAKE” or “REAL” confusion, I think it’s possible that he wore two different shirts. But more likely than not, he wore a shirt with boobs on it for real and a fan photoshopped a screen capture to make it look like he didn’t wear a boob shirt. I don’t know.
And whether or not it’s offensive to women depends on the person, but I believe it is. Regardless of whether or not a culture exists that idolizes breasts, that’s barely relevant to the topic–I doubt Rain was thinking of those cultures if/when he bought the shirt. Rain wearing a shirt with bare, exposed breasts on it would be like someone else going out in public with a bare, exposed…male body part on it. More than anything else, though, it really is a form of disrespect.

I was in shock when I noticed the nudity on Rain’s shirt. After all this was an important event, and thinking about him going through airports, going on the helicopter and finally going through the crowded hotel when he arrived in Macau wearing “THAT SHIRT” I almost fell out of bed laughing that night. I even thought at first the lady on the heliport pad with him might be a NUN and might see his back…well!!
I guess it all depends on where people live and what their customs are about nudity how accepting they are about him wearing the shirt. The part of the country where I come from in the US the people seeing it would have my reaction..YUK!!

the problem (at least IMHO) isn’t the nudity on his shirt itself. that particular image also depicts an electric guitar, thus, inferring to the old “sex, drugs and rock and roll” culture. his shirt wouldn’t have been so bad if it was an artiste’s rendering of a classic lounging nude, but the graphic that drizzle chose to wear infers to a lifestyle that many parents would not choose to expose their children to.

Well, see, candie, it’s not “just” the shirt that we’re judging him on. You have to take into consideration the failed US concerts, the fake smiles, the rudeness, the arrogance, the pity-me attitude, etc etc etc. Then you throw in the fact that he was a spokesman against human trafficking with an emphasis on children and women. And for him to turn around and wear a shirt like that. Now THAT’S what we’re judging him on.

I’m not saying you need to speak Korean or another language. All I’m saying is to have some empathy, which you clearly lack. Language learning should take place early in life for one to gain full reign of it. Rain’s attempt to break into the U.S. didn’t start when he was still a teenager. It was more or less recent. Sure he needs to learn to speak English, but it’s not that easy to learn a new language fast. And who cares if he chooses to sound like a hip hop guy.
