It’s the end of the year, and the police have stepped up on the road checks. As a result, someone with a bit of common sense would know that if you drink, then then should be no excuse for driving drunk. In Korea, there are a few options.
For the economically challenged, you can sing the night away at a norae-bang (singing room) and then take the first bus/subway home or you can stay at a jjim-jil bang to sweat out all that alcohol.
Or if can afford it, you can cab it home or call a dae-ri (hired driver) to drive your car home for you while you sit in the power seat (back right) and pretend that you are you a V.I.P.(even though you are drunk out of your mind).
Hwang Bora thought she was immune to the effects of alcohol and did not take any of the options.
Instead, she opted to drive herself home and was caught at a road check near Kangnam-gu-cheong (near Apku) at primetime 00:20 am. Her alcohol levels registered at 0.135% and she claimed to have had only a single glass of wine.
Yah right.

I think people are being a bit harsh on her. yes drunk driving is wrong but it doesn’t make her “retarded, stupid or a moron.” there are other celebs (as well as other people)who have been caught drunk driving. people make mistakes.. I’m glad she was stopped before she made an even bigger one. but regardless, its still her fault for taking that chance. So she does deserve it.

0.0135% is rather high. She seems to be around 100 pounds… so I’d say she had about 5 drinks. But if she didn’t really eat that much during the day, it could be that high because of 2 drinks.

If people only learned by their own experience as opposed to learning from others’ experience then the human race really wouldn’t have gotten very far. In today’s world, where it is so well known the damage that driving drunk can do, there is no excuse for anyone to get behind the wheel when they’ve had a few drinks.
