i think they could be good friends. they’ve seen each other many times…star king…award shows etc. and i’ve seen some good interactions. they’ll be each other’s celeb friends like the older people. recently, i heard the radio show when sun mi said she likes sunny and then sunny returned the compliment. it was cute but of course, they wouldn’t be stupid enough to say bad things and start a feud. i love both groups.
taeyeon and sunye are good friends because they’re from the same school. sun mi likes sunny.
i think they do get along well (i dunno about sohee, even though i like her, she always seems..arrogant?) i like both, but soshi is my obsession.. XD

I think they are good friends. Anyway, if there was any animosity towards anyone, I would think it would be within their own respective groups. SNSD once mentioned that even though exernal forces do give them competition, the greatest competition comes from within the groups.

Uh.. no kidding.. with nine girls trying to do pretty much the same thing, I would think so. But, between WG and SNSD, it also depends on a circumstance. The media might catch them at a wrong moment, then it could be blown way out of proportion and they are labeled as archenemies. Or, catch them at a right moment, then they are like the best of best friends. People just love to gossip and exaggerate about celebrities, so it will always be like that - for better or worse.

I cannot for the life of me love Wondergirls. Think they’re just okay, definitely, but their voices are not top notch (ok to be truthful, some can even barely hold a note) and they’re not even gorgeous. I think the leader’s quite pretty though, but that’s about it. They.. are in a very good company, that’s all i’ve got to say.
And no I am not a GG die hard fan, but I think they’re better because they can sing pretty damn well if you listen properly (and manage to get over that MORE THAN 5/6 bull)

SoHee is not arrogant, she’s shy and quiet that’s all. However, if you watch MTV Wonder Girls, you’ll see how lively and funny she is but since the accident, she had changed a lot.

About the new boyband,
I still think they have a long way to go. What bothers me though is that everyone is welcoming this new boyband while when Super Junior and SNSD debuted, they took so much heat for being such a large group. And an all honesty, I’ve seen some previews of the new boyband, and if they want to become number one, they’re going to have to step up their game. Their singing was okay and their dancing wasn’t as in sync as others. Plus, they better have a huge fan base or else they’re going to have some harsh words coming their way from Elf. And in all honesty, as long as there are SM boy bands, I don’t think a JYP boyband is going to be number one.

I think both girl groups are very good. But since they are both good groups there has to be competition. I could c them disliking eachother though.

I imagine theres some jealousy from WG to SNSD, considering SNSD came out after them and is selling and doing more, I’d be pissed too. lol it’s funny how their fans argue with each other and all these polls on WG vs. SNSD…both are equally untalented. sorry but true, none of them are mariah careys in the singing department, and none of them are usher or ciara and hell even chris brown with dancing. just corny pop groups that are going to get old in a few years. none of these girls will ever become WORLD famous. they will stay in Asia and enjoy their little bit of fame there for the time being.
as far as rivals go, these girls probably sit and laugh together at how stupid their own fans are. the only one I could see not hanging around their own group or with SNSD is yoobin because she’s a grown woman and all, the rest are just teenage girls.
There is already a lot of SoHee jealously in the Wondgergirls camp. SoHee has emerged as the most popular of the group and has been getting a lot of attention in the media, the others are jealouse of her.
Sohee knows this, so usally in the group interviews she stays in the back an allows the other girls to grab the spotlight and answer the questions.
Ye Eun is jealous because her pear shape body does not allow her to wear cute miniskirts. In addition, she looks like an ajuma already and she is only 19.
I predict there will be rivalry within the WG way before any WG vs Girls Generation.

It really must depend on the girl. I know there are some intergroup friendships between some of the girls, but some other ones, I haven’t heard anything. But I think most people are pretty good at heart, so even if they feel a little bit like rivals or a little bit of jealousy, they’re just being human. That doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll hate each other.
I am pretty sure that deep down, both groups see each other as rivals. After all, they are all around the same age and their fame just started to rise even more. With some many young girls entering the entertainment business together, I am pretty sure they will fight for popularity. Heck, I remember how people in my school pretended to be good friends and will compliment each other, only to back stab and gossip about each other. If they are naive enough to believe they are all friends, they will not try enough to hog camera time. It is quite obvious that when there’s a lot of people debuting around the same time (or making it big), they will grab all the attention they can get so they will not be left out.
Most celebrities are fake on camera (well, to a certain extent). They obviously have to pretend to be someone else in order to have an appealing image to the public. From what I have seen, it is too early to determine how a celebrity is like from their earlier stages of fame. It’s not until later on when they start revealing their true selves on television based on the things they do. After all, nobody can be that “pure” and “innocent” in the entertainment business. If they are, they wouldn’t be recognized since their wouldn’t be anything to gossip about for the general public. I am obviously writing my opinions without any intentions of bashing celebrities because it is pretty naive for anyone to believe whatever the media feeds them.
