Lee Teuk took the boyfriend’s side because he also uses those height increasing soles, but who wouldn’t be embarrassed by a boyfriend who shrinks an inch or two as soon as he takes his shoes off?

Though I will admit tall shoes are gaudy. But of course Eeteuk is going to defend them. He’s only a CM taller then me and I’m only 5′8? Something like that. And that’s pretty short for guys. (68 x 2.54) OK so he’s profile says 178 so give or take that at least 2cm and maybe he’s a little taller then 1 CM to myself. Now if the shoes aren’t completely guady on the guy then why does the girl care if he wears them? Sorry guys, but I am with Lee Teuk on this one. It is easy to say that height does not play a factor, and for some it doesn’t, but shorter guys do have a harder time attracting females. Most girls want a taller guy. Being an idol Lee Teuk gave an honest response from what he knows, those extra inches the shoes give can play a big difference in how he is perceived. Also, if you recall YSMM with Kimbum and Eunhyuk they both admitted the thing most lied about in their profile was height. Tall guys can attract more people, and if it makes the boyfriend feel good why not? If my boyfriend asked me to stop wearing makeup or something, it is a similar situation to me, most would think it absurd. Don’t doubt a males insecurities, they can care about appearances to.

I had an ex who was much shorter than mine (about 6-7 cm and trust me, that was A LOT) and I’m the kind of girl who enjoys the torture of high heels (it hurts my knuckles but it does make the booty looks good) so in the few years of dating him I had to let go those booty-glorifying thingies. It did look a bit weird when we were walking side-by-side, but hey, I dated him for more than a year so his height was definitely not an issue.
As someone who I bet finds no trouble in finding girls, shorter or otherwise, this womanly-looking guy should have known better. Does he know that there are girls out there who are actually not as shallow as him and DO look for other stellar qualities from a guy beside his height? Brain, gentleman qualities, parent-loving, God-fearing, maybe? I myself, don’t mind losing my open toes should I find someone like that (which is very very very very super rare).
