isn’t he “fit” enough?…..why lose more weight?!

  3. 3 Poodle December 29, 2007 at 1:08 am

As much I love tofu, I can’t imagine eating it three times a day, for how many weeks? I’ll barf tofu like the way demon-Regan does with green peas in The Exorcist.

  4. 4 F December 29, 2007 at 1:15 am

Noo why does he have to diet? I was just beginning to see how hot he is…

  5. 5 hiha December 29, 2007 at 1:22 am

Biologically it’s not a good thing to diet in this way.
YOU may face serious problems later.

My friend went on the tofu diet last yr and she got as anorexic as Song Yuri but I wouldn’t recommend this diet to anyone cuz you can’t just live on tofu. Just excercize and eat more fruits and veggies instead of starch.

    I Have 2 Go On This Diet…
    I’m FAT :D
    ㅋㅋㅋ

  8. 8 soju December 29, 2007 at 2:30 am

hmmm … i wonder if that really is a tofu-blended drink? looks more like a jamba juice bananaberry to me! haaah!

  9. 9 Blahblahbon December 29, 2007 at 2:33 am

    tofu is disguting.

  10. 10 Fannatic December 29, 2007 at 2:42 am

  11. 11 junsufan December 29, 2007 at 2:43 am

tofu is nice BUT JUN KI DOES NOT NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT..T_T

  12. 12 BKJSuh December 29, 2007 at 2:49 am

    Diet my ass.

  13. 13 Dumpling December 29, 2007 at 2:50 am

Ah, my little Snowflake. So nice to see him at PopSeoul again. He’s such a sweet-face!

I’m at the beginning of “Time of Dog and Wolf” and it’s suuuuuuuuper excellent!

  14. 14 lalala December 29, 2007 at 2:52 am

umm, what do u do with that tofu? do u cook with other stuff or do u just eat it raw?

  15. 15 Dumpling December 29, 2007 at 2:53 am

Come on you guys. Stop with the frothing. It’s not like Jun Ki is doing this for HIMSELF. It’s for a MOVIE, as PopSeoul stated. He is an actor, you know.

Good grief. Actors lose (and gain) weight all the time for roles.

  16. 16 Dumpling December 29, 2007 at 2:57 am

    @ lalala

There are seriously TONS of ways you can prepare and eat tofu. It’s a wonderful food and very healthy. Personally, I love tofu ice cream. :)

It’s also highly unlikely that Jun Ki is LITERALLY eating nothing but tofu. Come on, you guys! Stop being so gullible.

  17. 18 lalala December 29, 2007 at 3:04 am

Thanks Dumpling! and tofu ice cream? I never had that b4! anyway I thought u’re suppose to eat it raw that’s why i think it’s disgusting, but if u can make it with othe stuff then it’s goooood. :D

  18. 19 Kristen December 29, 2007 at 3:09 am

Can you imagine only having tofu for two weeks? Not only is that puke-worthy, it’s so unhealthy. It’s just a quick fix.

  19. 20 BKJSuh December 29, 2007 at 3:27 am

    @ Kristen

Yep, tofu is healthy, but like you said… having nothing but tufo = unhealthy.

His diet is soooo 80’s when there were “____ only diet”

  20. 21 phreaque December 29, 2007 at 3:27 am

basically what he’s doing is using the Atkins diet to lose weight, like what he did with the chicken previously.

a high protein diet with zero carbs lets you lose weight fast. basically you could eat a hamburger steak 3 meals everyday and still lose weight if you forgo the carbohydrates.

    not healthy though.

  21. 22 random December 29, 2007 at 3:30 am

but if he really wants to lose weight, he should fry all those tofu with chili oil and lemon juice. HAHA!

  22. 23 ... December 29, 2007 at 3:32 am

out of interest… does he eat the tofu with any sauce?

  23. 24 soju December 29, 2007 at 3:39 am

dumpling … you will love ‘time between dog and wolf’! junki is such a good actor. he’s my absolute favorite right now!

  24. 25 Annie December 29, 2007 at 4:01 am

Didn’t he already lose a lot of weight for The Time of Dog and Wolf? I don’t think he should diet at all. He looks fine the way he is now.

  25. 26 BKJSuh December 29, 2007 at 4:07 am

But than… Chris Bale lost roughly 54KG for his movie The Machinist…

  26. 27 Tifferz December 29, 2007 at 4:15 am

errrs… didnt they say he got a good “waist line” in the king and the clown?? y lose more weight? o.0

  27. 28 requiem December 29, 2007 at 4:24 am

arghh if he loses any more weight he would look like a skeleton.. somebody steal his tofu now

  28. 29 onigiri December 29, 2007 at 5:10 am

i hope he’s not planning on losing too much weight.
    he’s fine already.

  29. 30 KanginsFutureGF December 29, 2007 at 5:42 am

oppa!!! you dont need to lose weight!
    you’re hot already!!!
    LOL….
but he does look good in the picture…

  30. 31 Dumpling December 29, 2007 at 5:54 am

    @ Soju

I’m on the 4th episode now. I’m very impressed. It is such a good quality drama and not at all like the stereotype Korean dramas we have all seen and/or heard about. In the beginning of the story with the kids, I thought “little Jun Ki” looked a lot like the real Jun Ki, didn’t you? It’s nice when directors hire young actors who actually LOOK like the older actor they are supposed to be portraying. That kid did an EXCELLENT job. And he was so adorable. I just about died when he got whipped by his new dad and then his new mom broke down and took him in her arms, after she had been so cold and uncaring at first. That was so beautiful. I cried, yes I did!

Gosh, I could go on…it’s a damn fine show. Great directing, great acting from everyone involved (oh my God, when Jun Ki was at the restaurant and he realized that was the guy who killed his mom…his expressions and his angry tears when he covered his mouth with his hands to keep from screaming…I wanted to cry!), great story keeping me on the edge of my seat…

    Aja, aja…Jun Ki! Fighting!

  31. 32 elle December 29, 2007 at 6:35 am

Oh God, he needs to stop worrying about losing weight and start gaining MUSCLE!!! I swear if he gets any skinnier, it will start taking away from his sex-appeal. I think ONLY Joo Ji Hoon looks decent that skinny, and that’s ONLY because I’ve gotten used to him. Lee Jun Ki has a nice physique and becoming that skinny will make him look sickly, whereas Joo Ji Hoon is already super tall, with a small frame, so his skinniness just looks lanky.

    LJK, get MUSCLE! PLEAASEEEEE!!!!!! ~_~

  32. 33 Shanny December 29, 2007 at 7:49 am

Is it possible for him to get thinner? :o

  33. 34 babycakes December 29, 2007 at 8:31 am

I like him because unlike a lot of k-actors, he has a nice manly build (not that of a toothpick).
i thought he looked the hottest before he started losing weight left and right…

  34. 35 Cutie December 29, 2007 at 8:35 am

    Yay~ a new Junki drama >.<

Tofu isnt that bad… Theres a lot of different Korean recipes to eat Tofu, so a Tofu diet is o.k.a.y. for me(-_-)\/

  35. 36 JP December 29, 2007 at 9:56 am

Dog and Wolf is FABULOUS,everyone watch it, please. Actual suspence!

  36. 37 Min A December 29, 2007 at 10:36 am

how does he cook his tofu? does he just steam it? i’m curious cuz i wanna try it too.

  37. 38 jihae December 29, 2007 at 11:40 am

    @min a
you can cook tofu anyway you want.
cuz i think he cooks it anyway he wants and just eats it.

  38. 39 daewanghumamaroxy December 29, 2007 at 11:54 am

OMG! Is he about to bring back his feminine looks again?

I liked him in Time Between Dogs and Wolfs. He is a bit “meatier” there, and shed off his feminine looks.

  39. 40 daewanghumamaroxy December 29, 2007 at 11:55 am

in fairness, i love the taste of tofu, especially when cooking spinach and tofu soup.

  40. 41 so stupidddddddd December 29, 2007 at 12:49 pm

first of all, u will lose weight if you eat nothing but tofu. but when you stop, that’s when u gain all that fat again. so this is a dumb diet tip. there’s no real way to lose weight other than EXERCISE and eat right. yeah, he’s a celeb, so he gotta lose weight for whatever reason, so this is a good tip for celebs who wants to lose weight w/in certain time period.

and random thought. i always read his name as JUNKY. who is this guy anyways?

  41. 42 elle December 29, 2007 at 1:19 pm

lol @ junky!!! I thought the exact same thing the first time I read his name, but that was only due to a typo. Someone typed it as “actor Lee Junki” and I was like “what?” O_o

But @ the tofu comment, I think you can cook tofu like meat, and treat it as such, since vegetarians eat it in place of meat. I think soy products are often used as meat and dairy replacements.

  42. 43 Ann*e December 29, 2007 at 2:22 pm

    what the heck?
    why outta all the people
    should Lee junki lose weight?
i think he’s good the way he is :]

  43. 44 ChocolateCake December 29, 2007 at 2:40 pm

WOW! That’s worth a try! YAY thanks Junki oppa!

  44. 45 Dovey December 29, 2007 at 2:49 pm

Eat tofu three times a day for two weeks straight? No thanks…Surely, there must be other ways to lose weight. Come on, now!

  45. 46 Tracyy December 29, 2007 at 2:55 pm

He’s so fit, why does he have to go on a diet?!
    oh, & tofu. -shivers-
    Gross.
    I’d die just eating tofu.
    White colour, squishy thing.
    Ew.

  46. 47 Candy December 29, 2007 at 4:03 pm

Wow..I shall give it a try..I hope this works..

  47. 48 at4Shi December 29, 2007 at 7:53 pm

tofu? just that? I don’t if I only eating tofu for 2 weeks I will 8 kg lighter! but why he do some diet? he is not fat at all!

  48. 49 Pogi December 29, 2007 at 11:08 pm

0o0o I lurve tofu, but only when it’s cooked with fatty meat stuffs.

  49. 50 blinkable December 30, 2007 at 1:11 am

I find tofu tasteless and boring…Just eat in moderate and you will be fine and no need to diet
