BoA’s secret US debut plan

BoA has been secretly preparing her US debut album with Madonna’s producer Peter Rafelson since last year. Unlike Se7en, Rain and other K-pop singers who spend their time flaunting about their grand US debut without producing any results, BoA has been concentrating on producing her album and honing her English skills because she understands the difficulty of crossing over to another country. Finally, someone is approaching the “American Dream” in a more sensible way.

BoA’s US debut plans will be released in March and her US debut is scheduled for May.

Seeya’s Kim Yeon Ji rushed to hospital during performance

With Nam Gyu Ri and Lee Bo Ram hogging the media spotlight, Seeya’s Kim Yeon Ji went unnoticed until news about her fainting broke out this morning. Kim Yeon Ji fainted during her performance and was quickly rushed to the hospital.

The cause of her condition is unknown at the moment, but her blood is getting tested so her managers can decide whether or not she can resume her promotional activities. Seeya’s money hungry managers must be stingy when it comes to sick days.

Kim Yeon Ji is currently resting at the comfort of her own house until her results are released. Feel better Kim Yeon Ji!

Han Jae Suk is the new Jang Dong-gun in China

Unexpectedly Lobbyist star Han Jae Suk is gaining popularity in China. According to recent poll on popular Chinese portal site, Sohu, Han Jae Suk’s character on Lobbyist was voted as the most memorable with 11,125 votes.

In addition, Han Jae Suk was voted as the most popular Korean stars of 2008 on a poll conducted by CRI On-line, beating Jang Dong Gun, Rain, Super Junior etc.

Will 2008 be the year for the veteran actor Han Jae Suk? That remains to be seen, but he has a good start.

Baby faced Jang Geun Suk wants you to think that he’s cool, but a catchy tune and random shakes here and there aren’t enough to convince anybody. The boy should just stick to what he does best which is acting. Other acts such as his recent Mnet stunt as a drag and his latest CF as a pimp aren’t impressing anyone.

The song “Black Engine” was produced by hit master JYP and is used as a marketing song for a domestic cosmetic brand, Etude’s House.

While transsexual Lee Shiyeon is enjoying ~~his~~ her time in the limelight as a woman, Harisu’s dirty linen is getting strewn all over.

We all knew that beneath Harisu’s nip/tuck and whatnot, lies a man and that dormant man is now awake. According to passer-byers he/she’s been “hollering in a very masculine way” at her husband, Micky. Apparently, he’d been parking at such a slow pace that it got under her skin.

Somewhere along the way this celebrity couple swapped places between themselves. Poor Micky. Plucking up the courage to sacrifice his “manlihood” for a lifetime commitment was more than enough but now, he has to endure being man-handled by his wife.

Lee Dong-gun returns to his kpop roots

Newly single panda, Lee Dong-gun is returning to his kpop roots in Japan. After his highly publicized break-up, the singer turned actor is currently residing in Japan to prepare his Japanese single, scheduled to be released in March.

Lee Dong-gun debuted as a singer back in 1998, but after two albums, he called it quits. His official acting career started in 2003 with Lets go to School Sangdoo, and his latest endeavor was the hit movie Do You Live with Your Lover Now? with Han Chae Young and Uhm Jung Hwa.

Lee Dong-gun and Han Ji Hye seem to be putting a lot on their plates to go through their break-up, but don’t they know that there’s a much easier and convenient way? Befriending a pint of Ben & Jerry’s over a chic flick solves all my problems.

Thailand must be populated with millions of Elves and Cassiopeias if Super Junior and Dong Bang Shin Ki managed to get on the Channel V Thailand top charts.

Super Junior’s “Happiness” remake was #1 of the “Top 100 of 2007 International Chart” and Dong Bang Shin Ki singe “SHINE” was #1 of the “Top 10 of No.1 on Year Chart 2007.”

If you’ve ever wondered what type of house the stars lived in-look no further. The effeminate Jo In-sung lives in a cement closet ~~house~~ somewhere in Seoul (likely Kangnam). The exterior looks very cold and uninviting (as with most cement buildings) but the interior is thankfully a little warmer with the natural woods and beige walls. But the place looks so empty and devoid of life. Not a place I would want to live in.
