The heartthrob thought that the Naga Jolokia pepper, with a Scoville rating of 1,041,365 would taste good in a dish and he found the Habanero, Scoville rating between 200,000 to 300,000, to have a fruity fragrance. Now we’re no Scoville experts, but that sounds pretty damn spicy! Perhaps this singer’s tongue is numb to taste.
In fact, Jae Joong indulges in spicy food on a regular basis. Fellow DBSK members complain that Jae Joong, who is the group’s best, and only cook, always prepares food to his taste and not theirs.
Interestingly enough the same peppers brought members of Super Junior to tears, when they sampled them earlier in the series.
Oh cool. I never heard of Anatomy Explorers. Is the pepper the same when that guy came on Star King?
Maybe he didn’t have any taste bud and can’t taste any kind of flavor at all.

Dear Polynasion ~ the show is also known as EHB (Exploration of the Human Body) and it’s hosted by a different guy than that of Star King, Xman or Sang Sang. I’ve seen some of it but so far it looks more towards promoting Super Junior through their sunbae (i.e. TVXQ. Anyway, JJ can take spicy foods and show it off whenever he gets. I don’t think it will affect his voice.
I always knew there was something wrong with Jaejoong when he said kimchi is really sweet and not spicy AT ALL

DBSK does eat a lot. LOL. a staff (from music station) said he was far beyond shocked when he see the amount of food DBSK eats for lunch. I guess they have have a fast metabolic rate + all the concerts + performance …they can’t gain weight. =( And spicy stuffs speed up ur metabolic rate..

Actually, eating hot peppers is good for your stomach (i know, doesn’t make sense but is true). Oh and here’s an explanation for how he can eat it… the more you eat, you build up tolerance for the chemical (capsaicin) in peppers.
