i think Rain is more well known, internationally than Anyband. Not a lot of people know Tablo or even Junsu or Jin Bora…Olympics is more of a global thing, so I think it’s reasonable for them to use Rain. He’s known throughout Asia and kinda known in America too. rain have not sung for a long time, so i’m glad they are letting him sing the olympic song for anycall.

Rain is more well-known. That’s why Samsung picked him. But he better do something about his performance. It’s been downhill since end 2006 and that China midautumn performance in Sept 2007 was the icing on the cake. It was awful.

I think some people are overestimate his popularity in China….Rain is known in China with the younger generation, but not popular or huge and now get he alot of bashing in the chinese forum so that doesn’t help too….
