Again, Rain is recycling his past success to make some dough. It’s rather clever that he’s executing all these “grand” plans before Speed Racer rolls out in May, because we all know that his opportunities will dry out once it does.

To those who think he’s still young – I am going to say I am not so sure. In an entertainment industry where they start so young and burn out before 30, I think he has a few years left. Although this fan would love to see him stick around for more ; )

As someone has pointed out, Rain is now not just an artiste, but also a boss and CEO of his company and he is duty bound to ensure that all his employees get paid, his shareholders gets a decent return on their investments and most importantly keep his fans happy while he is preparing his new album, so this is a win-win solution for everyone!!

KBS produced those dramas and therefore own the copyright of them. I don’t think any of the lead characters including Rain has any ownership over those drama.
KBS know for fact that, after the movie Speed Racer come out, Rain will be known internationally. Rain’s success has basically opened up a new worldwide market for their dramas.

Nothing wrong with this. And like what someone has posted, KBS owns all his dramas. As for the other things, that’s the show business, my dear. This is Rain’s job, so obviously, he’s working to get paid. Just like all people who are working. We all want money. We all want to get paid. And we do our jobs very well to at least get bonuses. That right there, may also be a “bonus”.
