Elves and Cassiopeias must all reside in Thailand

Dbsk_20080130_popseoul

Thailand must be populated with millions of Elves and Cassiopeias if Super Junior and Dong Bang Shin Ki managed to get on the Channel V Thailand top charts.

Super Junior’s “Happiness” remake was #1 of the “Top 100 of 2007 International Chart” and Dong Bang Shin Ki singe “SHINE” was #1 of the “Top 10 of No.1 on Year Chart 2007.”

Good thing that I visited Thailand before the birth of POPSEOUL!

Why I’m a Thai and feels seriously ashamed of this?

I mean seriously anyone who is korean can make it big in Thailand these day. SERIOUSLY.
Even Thai singers are acting like korean singers right now.
I mean, not that I don’t listen to korean songd or that I’m not a fan of any specific korean groups but I do think that DBSK is a little too overhyped or something of that sort.

I mean, 15000 people just for the press with people passed out! Thank god I wasn’t in Siam Square where there held the press con.

Duh Fern, If you think a bit, there’s no need to be ashamed.. Any koreans can get our attention, it’s so true. Thai people love beauty in any forms, looks: guys or girls, music: rock, hip-hop, pop, R&B, etc. Korean have them, we take them. The point is when they come to promote, most of the time, it’s free. Not many artists get that much money, except Rain and DBSK. Shinhwa was a big failer here (sorry, fans). FT Island just sold half of the tickets in a small venue, and it’s a cheaper half. They have about another 2 weeks before the concert. BigBang has potential, we’ll see. FTTS got it bad with the unexpected incident. Still they don’t have that many fans anyway. In summary, so many Korean artists come to Thailand in hope to be successful, and they do get some response. Money? Nah..

Ooh do I need to mention SS501 and Paran? SS501 are almost forgoten, and Paran is completely forgoten. SuJu does have quite amount of fans from what I’ve seen in the internet, surprisingly I don’t know anyone of them. Anyway, there’re actually only 3 groups: SuJu, BB, and FTI that may have some potential, in the order of the most to the least. Any failures in Korean won’t be successful here anyway. The one who is successful there still wait to see.
