HaHa has a boo boo

haha_20080204_popseoul.jpg

The comedian/radio jockey/singer/rapper, better known as the little kid from the neighborhood or Haha was hospitalized yesterday after suffering from symptoms of fatigue. Perhaps the pseudo celebrity is stretching his limited talents too far. Guest DJs BMK and Han Kyun Il filled in on his radio show, HaHa’s Ten Ten Club. HaHa sent his apologies from the ER while polishing off a bottle of Lidocaine via IV. Tasty.

With his training enlistment a week away, HaHa’s hospitalization is too coincidental to deny. It’s too bad that childish cries for attention won’t get him out of government mandated service. To think that we were hoping that the little boy would go off to become a man with some dignity…

Feel better HaHa!

ah wow he really works hard and you forgot to put actor in his description and he is funny

  3. 3 Blahblahbon February 6, 2008 at 3:21 am

Okay, that whole: write-an-insulting-word-then-cross-it-out-and-replace-it-with-another-word-as-if-you-were-being-witty, has officially gotten old Poppy.
You’re doing it too often now…It is no longer funny.

  4. 4 lavenderblue February 6, 2008 at 3:23 am

what happened to him and his girlfriend? did they ever get married??

  5. 5 mHeaven February 6, 2008 at 3:45 am

He is actually a celebrity..I mean he is a comedian he is not supposed to be taken seriously so why such much spite toward haha?

  6. 6 Korean Ajusshi February 6, 2008 at 4:02 am

PS, you make it sound as though he is faking his illness. Maybe its exhaustion combined with the stress of starting his military duty. Besides, I don’t think it will be enough to exempt him from serving.

  7. 7 Brina February 6, 2008 at 4:14 am

Heh. I would back out of serving too If I could.

  8. 8 Reina February 6, 2008 at 4:17 am

    haha please get well son
and iwill miss you in themilitary service T-T

I’m quite confused why people assume every little thing these Korean males star do before going into training is a way of getting out of it. I mean isn’t there a possibility he may actually be suffering from fatigue and not trying to get out of his duties? We all now how much they push these celebs there so it’s not surprising that he would feel fatigue in my opinion.

  10. 10 w February 6, 2008 at 5:15 am

Sometimes i wonder why Popseoul has so much hatred towards korean celebs, HAHA is not a psudo celeb and he actually might be tried from doing real work unlike some ppl who trash talk about others.

  11. 11 resabambino February 6, 2008 at 5:17 am

    Get better

  12. 12 anne February 6, 2008 at 5:42 am

How utterly distasteful, insulting a sick celebrity. Being unnecessarily mean doesn’t equal funny or amusing.

  13. 13 Q February 6, 2008 at 5:48 am

Who the hell took this picture? Is it really necessary to take a picture of him while he’s “suffering”?

  14. 14 johnnydorama February 6, 2008 at 5:59 am

I don’t see anything wrong with Popseoul’s spin on the article, it was actually fairly clever and amusing. Although in this case, I believe HaHa was actually fatigued and sick. HaHa is a great entertainer, both as a comedian and an artist, I would like to see him back asap.

  15. 15 Love2Read February 6, 2008 at 6:39 am

You know I feel for him if he is actually sick, but that photo looks totally staged so he really could have done without releasing the photo

  16. 16 Joe February 6, 2008 at 6:43 am

Again? Another low blow under the belt by Popseoul? I’m not surprised at all. I know you have this blog to put things up about the celebrity world in Korea, but please put something up that actually is worth reading.

Popseoul, it seems like you’re now using this blog as your soapbox to harshly criticize, wrongly assume, and accuse Korean celebrities. Keep your distasteful thoughts and opinions to your own self and just do your job in posting information that keeps fan interested, not angered.

  17. 17 jrwmlp February 6, 2008 at 7:01 am

OMFG WHY are people still coming to this blog if they always complain about what is said?!

Joe, How can you tell the owner of this blog to keep their distasteful thoughts and opinions to themselves? Are you really that dumb? Just stop COMING if you don’t like it.

There are a crapload of other blogs that post about Korean entertainment, so go.

  18. 18 roze February 6, 2008 at 7:45 am

    aww.. T_T
    get well soon haha..

  19. 19 bunta February 6, 2008 at 8:40 am

    get well soon HaHa!

  20. 20 Janelle February 6, 2008 at 8:41 am

jrwmlp: People have the freedom to come here and post comments too :P

  21. 21 Diane February 6, 2008 at 8:42 am

How the heck did they get a picture of him in the hospital?

  22. 22 jrwmlp February 6, 2008 at 8:55 am

Janelle: You’re right, they do. But It’s pointless. I thought I’d let them know.

  23. 23 Joe February 6, 2008 at 9:17 am

Jrwmlp, if you don’t like my comment…deal with it. It’s my opinion and I can say whatever the hell I want to say. If you read my comment more carefully then you’d understand what I’m saying.

First of all, Popseoul claims that HaHa’s hospitalization seems fishy because it’s one week before his enlistment into the army, but how can they be so sure.

Second of all, saying that HaHa is a pseudo (fake, if you don’t know what that means) celebrity, which is not true considering HaHa is a celebrity by the fact that he is exposed on TV and radio and has an influence on those who watch is proven fact that he is a celebrity.

Lastly, if Popseoul is a blog to help inform those about what goes on in the Korean celebrity world, it should be a blog without some sort of bias by the owners of the blog or harsh comments (i.e.: Calling HaHa a fake) to celebrities they don’t like.

If I want to come onto this blog and express my dislike, I can. I like this blog, but the assumptions without factual evidence or the harsh comments about some celebrities needs to stop.

  24. 24 poor guy February 6, 2008 at 9:23 am

i feel bad for him. working too hard i guess. i never thought he was funny, but irritating. esp his childish voice he makes. but that’s his role i guess. get well soon!

  27. 27 Machi February 6, 2008 at 9:35 am

i dont get why Popseoul always say celebrity TRY so hard to get attention for stuff like this… why would they want attention by this? smart…

  28. 28 R. Kelly February 6, 2008 at 9:53 am

    I liked the post title.

  29. 29 Yun February 6, 2008 at 9:53 am

Krnloop @ wordpress is better a blog for news, guys.

  30. 30 bear February 6, 2008 at 1:22 pm

aw. i feel bad for the fun guy. he is definitely an interesting personality. i prefer to believe that he was busy wrapping up loose ends before entering military service. too many korean entertainers are being sleaze balls and avoiding their military services, so i would like to believe in Haha, at least. ^-^

  31. 31 moo February 6, 2008 at 1:23 pm

popseoul is a crappy trashy blog coz i feel she/they hate most of the celebs but I will keep coming back still just to see if who popseoul bashed and then i’ll bash popseoul..
ha ha ha suck on that.

  32. 32 dandelionss February 6, 2008 at 1:49 pm

    poor haha. :’(

  33. 33 dandelionss February 6, 2008 at 1:51 pm

lmfao ‘moo’ wtf are you talking about?

  34. 34 Kim February 6, 2008 at 2:04 pm

    Thanks for the info Yun.

“It’s too bad that childish cries for attention won’t get him out of government mandated service. To think that we were hoping that the little boy would go off to become a man with some dignity…”

How is him being sick a cry for attention??? I’d like to think that celebrities have better things to do than intentionally get sick and get sent to the hospital in order to appear in the press.

I like Popseoul for the news and whatnot but sometimes, the writers get too out of hand – no one really knows what’s really going on and it’s a bit unfair for someone who is so far apart from the celebrity world to pass judgment on those who live those lives.

  35. 35 YaHa February 6, 2008 at 2:52 pm

hmm dont remember who posted this earlier

anyway, i doubt haha fainted on purpose cause i think he was on his way to accept an AWARD.

    agreed with kim. >:|

  36. 36 Joe February 6, 2008 at 3:36 pm

That’s a great point you made Kim.

“Lastly, if Popseoul is a blog to help inform those about what goes on in the Korean celebrity world, it should be a blog without some sort of bias by the owners of the blog or harsh comments”

I 100% fully agree with this. I was properly introduced to the Korean industry through Popseoul and believed every freaking thing said here. Whoever was criticized here I hated, everyone liked I like. Popseoul’s getting out of hand.

Personally I don’t think this site deserves the attention. Like hello, it was even published in a Singapore newspaper for goodness sake. Horrible decision there

  38. 39 joyce February 7, 2008 at 9:37 am

i like haha.. but i dont get why people are so sensitive about popseoul writing this way.. it has always been this way.. its even worse with rain and super junior (and sometimes bada)

  39. 40 gtfo_fangirl February 7, 2008 at 1:48 pm

    ^ lol yeah ~

HaHa is so funny even though i don’t quite understand why he tries to rap. The fact that i actually like him a lot makes me barf a little in my mouth x.x

I hope HaHa gets well soon cos sooner or later he’ll have to go to armyzzzzz! lol =x he’s such a wuzz (a lovable one, but a wuzz nontheless) he must be pissing on his pants just thinking about Army training XD

  40. 41 shimji February 12, 2008 at 1:32 am

love reading the comments more than the topic itself!

  41. 42 Charlo February 12, 2008 at 12:34 pm

Eh, it happens. Infinity Challenge had done a lot of events like the ballroom dance competition, that big concert, and recently they went to India (I think HaHa was there, I’m not sure) and they took part in a military service training (hilarious with the fighting over ramen =D).

No one wants to do military training. Can you blame him? All males have to go through it, but it doesn’t mean you’re supposed to go with a smiling face. Celebrities are human, too, remmeber? =)
