Is Bada hiding a scandalous past with Wonbin and Noh Hong-chul?

20080207badawonbin1

When Bada was looking like a low-class ajumma, no one was saying anything. But now that she’s looking good (finally), her rumored “scandalous” past has come to light.

On a recent episode of MBC Every1 Showcase, the relationship between the pop star and the sexy Won Bin was addressed. The musical star expressed her discomfort and denied that her and Won Bin were ever an item.

And in response to her rumored relationship with comedian Noh Hong-chul, Bada replied that they are good friends.

What about Won Bin?

bada and won bin? was this like 10 years ago?

  3. 4 Lana February 7, 2008 at 5:21 am

When Bada was looking like an ajumma, wasn’t she in a play during that time that required her to look like that because that was the part she was playing? Coulda sworn that’s what I read on this site. Funny how that gets left off all the time, if that’s the case….

Bada is hot. My favorite song of her’s is VIP. Bada, Park Jung Ah, Lee Hyori and Jeon Ji Hyun are so hot.

Koreans need to brand their country more. Koreans need to promote their culture, especially korean food. if korean food was well known, it would really boost korea’s economy.

One more thing though, when I was in korea, koreans littered too much. Koreans need to stop the extreme littering and obey their traffic laws.

Come on.. WonBin and Bada? This is obviously not true.. Ppl need to stop talking about this…

^^^^ uh, okay? you went from bada, to other celebrities, to korean food, then to korean sanitation? the korean economy is actually coming off a strong 4th quarter, looking to have good control in the midst of alot of economic anxiety across the world. korean food wouldn’t ‘boost’ the economy, the manufacturing and technology industries are what south korea exports the most. so yeah, make sure you get your facts straight before you spit out pointless comments. and while korea does have a littering ‘problem’, doesn’t the whole world have the same issue? driving there is crazy because of how small roads are, and how major cities are jam packed with people. littering in those kind of cities is rather difficult to regulate, though if you do throw cigarettes onto the street, you will get fined. so there is an initiative to get people into the know of littering.

and back on topic, wonbin can do alot better than bada.

  9. 10 for real February 7, 2008 at 6:22 am

you gotta be kidding, bada and wonbin??? lol. if that’s true, wonbin must’ve been on drugs.

  10. 11 Promote Korean food February 7, 2008 at 6:54 am

Danny, I take it you don’t know much about marketing and how behind korea is on marketing.

Read today’s editon of the Chosun Ilbo. Read the article about how Manhattenites cook korean food.

It even mentions how korea is behind in Japan in marketing. Korea really does need to work on marketing it’s country. People know about Japan because the Japanese promote not only it’s electronics, but it’s culture and food. IF you go to local supermarkets in Calfifornia where there is a huge korean population, they sell Japanese beer, but not Korean beer. Korean beer is found in korean supermarkets, but not in stores like Ralph’s, Bristol Farms, or Whole Foods. Japanese beer is even found at Trader Joe’s and i see people buying Japaense beer.

one day korean food will be widely available like indian food. or better yet, chinese.

*stares off into the distant future*

  16. 17 xf February 7, 2008 at 9:35 am

Yes, they need to promote more of Korean food. And HK is so jampacked but the city is uber clean !!! I think Promotekoreanfood has a point because the HK peeps obey traffic laws and they dont litter and the city is sooo crowded so what’s the difference between HK and Seoul ?
Anyway Korea needs more drama like Dae Jang Geum becoz DJG promoted korean culture. Oh well. Just my two cents.
Back to Bada… she’s lookin old really these days. Like
stressed or pressured or something? 2 years ago she was still looking cute.. now. I dunno.

  17. 18 Sang Kyu February 7, 2008 at 9:37 am

    for real
you gotta be kidding, bada and wonbin??? lol. if that’s true, wonbin must’ve been on drugs.

    Get real … for real.

Why would wonbin have been on drugs. If it has a hole korean men will screw it. In fact any male nationality will screw it if it has a hole. Does not matter how hot or ugly a woman is. Men are dogs plain and simple as that.

Though off-topic, I have to agree…I don’t know why Korean food never caught on like Chinese food. Korean food is soooooooooooo delicious (and healthy!) and every time I finally manage to talk one of my American friends into trying some they always love it. When you say “Korean food” to the average American they just wrinkle their nose. They have some weird pre-conceived notion about what Korean food is going to look and taste like. But those who make the leap and try it are always pleasantly surprised. I’m so glad I live in an area that has Korean markets and restaurants. I don’t know what I would do otherwise. My life wouldn’t be the same without soju, bibimbap, bulgogi, kimbap and all the rest of it.

But I’m not a big fan of kimchi!

  21. 22 Aya (Not logged in) February 7, 2008 at 10:31 am

Its funny how true it is, she was a no name ajumma and now she is being hit with scandals lol

  22. 23 danny February 7, 2008 at 10:39 am

okay, i do agree that promoting korean food would expand people’s knowledge of korean culture, but isn’t that with so many other things? should korea then promote taekwondo and taekkyon so it can be more global like karate and muay thai? there are plenty of things korea can use to utilize in terms of sharing our rich culture to others, namely korean food as an ‘export’ as you say would be effective in reaching such a goal. but what I’M saying is that, korea’s ‘niche’ is not to ‘export’ korean food as you say in order to boost the economy! i’m not talking about marketing, i’m talking about Korea is doing pretty well economically without the idea of ‘promoting food’. and i’m not sure where you go in these highly korean populated cities you speak of, but most of the time, they’re selling korean brands instead of japanese. i’m on the east coast, even the alcohol chain wine and spirits sells all different proof soju to the public. there are korean restaurants all over the place here in every section of philadelphia. ask a new yorker what bibimbap is, and they’ll probably know. it depends on the location of where you made your ‘observations’. marketing isnt my point, korea just has bigger and more financially sound plans committed in their building success besides food. automobiles, technology, and other manufactured goods is where we get the big bucks.

  23. 24 danny February 7, 2008 at 10:43 am

and note to the person who talked about HK, you make it sound like Hong Kong is so clean when they have a pretty bad pollution problem just like korea. and from what i’ve heard, there are lot of panhandlers on the street, just like any other country. so trying to justify HK through korea’s ‘dirtiness’ is offending and biased.

“should korea then promote taekwondo and taekkyon so it can be more global like karate and muay thai?”

Tae Kwon Do is actually very popular in the States. There is a Tae Kwon Do place pretty much in every big city. Usually more then one.

Unfortunately, TKD really isn’t a viable martial art for self-defense, but you do learn to get lean and limber so it can work towards improving fitness.

It seems like the female artists/actresses always get it much harder in the press (and fans) than the males.

Won Bin and Bada are both highly respected and talented with each of their own great qualities. Please consider this before making biased opinions based on appearances alone.

Also, Bada mentioned that she personally felt hurt when during the scandal years ago because people were saying the same thing you all are: “Won Bin is too good.” Celebrities have feelings too.

its very possible.. wobin looks like the type of man that isn’t aware of his hotness… which is also the type that always goes after the ugliest chicks.. not that Bada is ugly or anything…well not anymore… ha ha ha :P

  35. 37 promote Korean food February 8, 2008 at 3:28 pm

the world needs more awareness about korea. if korea’s economy is doing so well, then why do is there still large scale emigration occuring? People immigrate because their country is not good.

korea has to market their country and food as much as possible. making CASS, HITE, and OB beer popular is a plus. Many people will buy it. After I drank CASS, I stop drinking Budweiser and only drink CASS. I am helping Korea’s economy by purchasing korean beer. Yes, it’s true that cars, electronics, etc. can help the economy, but in addition to that, there are several other ways in boosting the economy.

Korea’s weakness is not knowing how to market their country and making the country clean.

  36. 38 danny February 9, 2008 at 12:20 am

promotekoreanfood, i am in accordance to your opinion that as ‘cultural enlightenment’ Korea should promote things like food to establish a wider audience across the world. okay, great. however, you really do not quite get it still. you’re talking about things such as economy and how food would do wonders for Korea. we have bigger issues at hand. we have a vulnerable shock effect with China and Japan, who are facing harder times financially in recent memory. We’re also recovering from a devastating oil spill on our coasts several months ago. However, in the midst of all of this, our economy still grew 1.5 percent in the 4th Quarter. You also mentioned ‘large scale emigration’, another tangent from your original point. Though there may be success in any country, there also can be a wide gap between the rich and poor. Korea is one of those countries. That does not make Korea in a bad state financially, however. Every president that we elect promises to lower this gap. However, this is something pretty much impossible to do.

People who run restaurants, who work in BEER factories, are victims of this gap. Why? because Korea has one of the longest working hours in the world. On average, a korean worker has a 50+ work week. So while you enjoy your CASS or OB, just think of how this really is boosting the economy. It may boost the economy, but it totally kills your point of ‘large scale emigration’ in relevance to a ‘bad economy’. It’s emigration due to the exploitation of the working people. I really suggest you learn more about the culture, whether you are korean or not, because it seems like you just enjoy making baseless opinions about the country.

And one more thing: Korean business is run rather shadily and forcefully. The top corporations or ‘jaebols’ are family run, and have lots of power extended to all things in Korea. From politics, to hotels, to even sports teams, these big businesses run alot of stuff in Korea. Guess what the top jaebols are? They are either automakers, technology, or shipbuilding/construction industries. This is just a part of Korean business. This is the way how things are. If you research and learn more, you will understand what I’m trying to say.

  37. 39 Meru February 10, 2008 at 10:30 am

nothing to do with the post, but the comments sure are entertaining to read. and whoever said HK is ‘clean’ must be on crack XD ok, so it’s relatively clean, but it’s no singapore. and panhandlers isn’t a huge problem in HK either, it’s about the same if not less than it is in new york city or any other metropolis. where do you people get all these crazy notions about places you haven’t lived in?

and as for promoting a culture, well, i think it’s mostly a fad when it’s about food. for example, there used to be a lot of korean bbq restaurants in hong kong ten years ago, now they’re a lot harder to find, coz what’s popular now is thai food, five years ago was japanese but it’s resurfacing again last year. these cultural fads come and go. i don’t think it’s possible to compare one culture to another, there are so many factors that makes it what it is. can’t really strip it down to just economics.

I agreed. I think Bada and Wonbin are both talented and they have reputation in the entertainment. Both are senior stars now. I find nothing wrong if Bada and Wonbin actually went out. I’m not sure about Wonbin, but Bada has a really great personality. I remember Shinhwa’s Junjin once said that if Bada has a boyfriend, that guy’d be a lucky one. Bada is pretty, Wonbin is handsome. They’d be a perfect couple.
