The 21 year old actress is back from an 8 month hiatus and showed up looking like a twig at the press conference for her new drama series, Single Papa in Love. Oh ji Ho stars as a single father who is a pest terminator by day and K-1 fighter by night. Catchy. Heo Yi Jae will play the role of Jeon Ha Ri, a medical student and an only daughter of a rich family who falls in love with the K-1 pest fighting daddy. Hopefully this drama will do well and Miss Yi Jae puts some bulgogi down her throat cause the girl sure needs it.

I’ve seen skinnier– actual bones wearing the skin like stockings, but she does look unhealthy. Girls living in Asian are really into the anorexia look unfortunately, not implying she’s forcing herself to look this way, coz who knows.
Anyone who thinks that is normal is off their rocker. True there is no such things as anorexia in korea, girls mistakenly think that being too thin is ok, not eating is ok. Her collar bone is sticking out and what little of her chest you can see in the last picture u can tell is sunken in. She only looks half way ok because of the fluffy dress hiding her skeletal structure, and the sheer glimmer tights make her legs look not as sickly thin but they are. If you all saw her in person you would know something is not healthy about it. There are ppl who are thin but that girl if she wore revealing clothes like a bathing suit like we’ve seen nicole richie wearing, you would see not a thin girl but someone sickly thin. Tone thighs you have to be kidding me.
I know, what the heck happened to her? She was so cute and pretty and most importantly healthy (or at least healthy-looking) in Goong S. Then she went all emo. Now she looks sick.
I actually like this girl. I just hope she would start being healthy again.

Even with these girls we can see their collar bone!!! Are they thin? NO! Are they big? Somewhat. Are they fat? Not yet (and yes, they are FAT if they are in Asia, super thick i must say! ~but with the so called “American” standard!!! if you’re not 300lps, you ain’t fat yet!!!!) So, are they normal size? Bingo bingo!!!!!!
Not to mention in the first picture we can hardly see her collar bone. It’s all the light and the angle that make the difference.
And yeah, i don’t see her chest sunken in either. Did we look at the same pic?

yeah we are looking at the same picture and if you do a close up on it you can tell her chest is suken in, there are plenty of asian woman who are naturally thin and to be honest i’m not comparing her to an american standard but rather a korean one, and when your head is bigger than the rest of your body there is something wrong. but i have the right to think whatever i want cause the only one with a last word is her. She’s the only one that knows if she’s starving herself. But i think it’s funny to see that the majority of ppl who have commented on her think she looks great like that and probabily think she could lose even more weight to be perfect.
Hopefully it is just a bad camera angle because she definitely looks a bit unhealthy

I have JUICY GOSSIP on Heo Yi Jae. I didn’t watch Goong S at all cauz I thought Goong 1 was boring as it is so I almost forgot this piece of information.
My friend’s Korean friend went to the SAME HIGH SCHOOL as her and guess what she said about Heo Yi Jae:
Apparently, HYJ has ALWAYS been like this. She does NOT eat like a normal person. During lunch time, she only eats fruits and vegetables sliced up and goes home and eats some more fruits and vegetables. During class time, she literally sits up with her back straight because she thinks if she keeps her stomach straight, it will keep the stomach fat away. Even when she is about to fall asleep, she keeps her back straight until the end of the day. I think she said HYJ also excercises too much. She is obsessed about her looks, and there were rumors at her school that she slept her way to get the role in Goong S or did enormous favors because apparently, in Korea, it is hard to become a celebrity without certain connections or amazing talent. We all know she has zero talent and HYJ had no connections at the time.
Is this behavior normal? Decide for yourself if she is anorexic or has other problems.
Oh, she also got a little bit of plastic surgery.

Actually, tons of worshipped Korean celebrities today have slept their way to the top. Think of all those talentless that get leading roles, and all those talented people not getting roles. They are so desperate they are willing to do anything, including giving over their bodies. This is the entertainment industry. You think it’s not going to be dirty or scandalous? Of course, naive foreign fans would deny this. How did a nobody become a somebody overnight? Common sense, people. And duh, the companies would make sure the scandal never goes out and they would bury it from the media.

What you’ve said is the general “negative” notion that is happening not only in K-entertainment but the whole world-wide entertainment. But I still maintain that not because some are doing it then everybody is doing it.

Just because an actress is a newbie she is bound to sell her body and soul even to the demons just to get a share of fame???
Han Hyo Joo’s debut drama was “Spring Waltz”. She got the role without prior experience in a drama. And its a common knowledge that Yoon Eun Hye wasn’t the first nor second choice for Goong 1. She got the role only after it was turned down by 2 other actresses. Does this mean also that these two young ladies slept their way in exchange for a “lead role” in a drama as their debut. And how can an audience judge an artist being “talentless” without first giving them a break? Without having seen them on-screen?
And you say that the “talented” ones do not get the role?
Have you asked why? Have you done your homework? No! As obviously you already have a mind-set that the “talentless” are getting the parts from these “talented” ones after sleeping their way through. Have you not even thought that “talent” equals a high talent fee. This has been what producers have been complaining about these so-called “talented” artists commanding unreasonably high fees that they end up risking on neophytes with the potentials to make it big.
I am not a fan of this Heo Yi Jae or Han Hyo Joo or any artist who started her way as a newbie.
I just find the sweeping generalization utterly unfair and unjust.
