They’re stems from a tree looks like. Almost looks like dandelion stems when you blow up the unnoticed parts when you paint it. Its nice, but it isn’t a very good painting, artistically saying. Though, the background of it is very nice. If she just left it like that it would of looked very natural and whimsical.

Art is open to interpretation. This piece, like any other works of art, is open to scrutiny. Others might look at it as sperm and to some as matchstick or perhaps even cotton swab.
One’s artistic expression can come from many different inspirations. A lot of great painters in history have used muses to spark their creative geniuses. Kim Hye-soo might have taken her queue from sperm or not. Whatever it is, she only knows.
Yes, it’s a little dirty to think about it, but popseoul might just be right.
