Maybe I’m getting old or getting bored, but I’m beginning to like this guy, especially after I watched A Love to Kill. He definitely can pull it off as an actor and as a performer. Plus, he is not bad looking (although he’s nowhere near my wonderfully beautiful Song Seung Heon). I say goodluck to him. I sure will watch his Hollywood movie when they open here in CA.

I would recommend you watch ‘Sangdoo, Let’s go to School’, if you haven’t yet watched it. It is, in my opinion, a lot better than ‘A Love to Kill’. The drama is excellent and Rain’s acting is really really impressive. It is on Youtube now, just type in ‘Sangdoo ep’.

Rain has been casted to act as the lead character in the coming Holywood movie ‘ Ninja Assassin’. That’s why he is losing a lot of weight and growing his hair, it’s all for the movie.
It just seems like he’s trying to hard to have “style” or create a “style” that people would want to copy.

I agree with some popseoulers. It would be a good move to start his career as a movie actor here in the US, rather than as an entertainer. His chances of making it are greater as opposed to singing. At least for now that he is still learning to speak the language. Makes sense.

Just like he got soooo thin for “A Love To Kill” probably because of the kick-boxing he had to do, he is getting thin for all that action stuff he will be doing in his new movie.
No doubt he is wearing the head band because his hair (which he is growing for his new movie)is so long it would fall in his face and the scarf he is wearing is very popular in the US for musicians and entertainers in general.
Already much of the press in the US are saying they are looking forward to “Ninja Assassin” because of the Wachowski Bros. who did the “Matrix” series are doing the movie. They are the same ones who did “Speed Racer” with Rain. Evidently they liked his work or they wouldn’t have given him the lead in this movie.

Let me tell you something, when Rain had a short haircut for his 4th album, someone from DBSK- and I’m not sure who because I don’t know them- also had the same cut, although he didn’t have blonde highlights. That was an obvious one. Because bfore that, most males had longer hair pulled to one side style, or there may have been a short haircuts but not as short as Rain’s hair for I’m Coming.
Besides, MIckey only “copied” it from other entertainers because that style has been pulled off by many entertainers already be it Japanese, Chinese, or American.

I really like Rain’s voice and his moves, but his looks - well they are the best. Unlike Bae Yong Joon who couldn’t look bad if he tried, Rain has to be careful of the pose. He can look fantastic, but at the wrong moment with the wrong wardrobe he can be hard on the eyes.
I hope he fires whoever has been in charge of his wardrobe for the last year or so. If he’s doing it himself, needs some serious help with it. He can hire me cheap.
