Ivy_20080222_popseoul

Naughty singer, Ivy attended her graduation ceremony at Dongduk University today, completing her degree in Theater Performances, which took her seven years.

The paparazzis were all over her since she’s been MIA for two months and many were asking her about her comeback, but she failed to confirm anything. But it doesn’t matter how long Ivy prolongs her comeback because she has no choice but to return as the slutty sexy diva, competing with the Hyoris and Suh In Youngs of the industry.

….Why did she even go to college? If you’re going to be in a school, you should be there regularly and do your studies, if you can’t do that then you have no business going to school.

some people have lives and college is just a glorified trade school. On average no matter what it usually takes 5 yrs to grad. from a university, Most people work and go to school that’s why it takes so long. Money and time are 2 things every student wishes they had more of.

er, good for her, but what’s up with her toga/graduation robe? aren’t they supposed to be full/floor-length or is it different in korea?

it doesnt matter how long it takes for one to finish college… in this competitive world, education is the key…

  8. 8 daneil February 22, 2008 at 7:08 pm

xNoodles- why don’t you ask all celebrities then?
Yoo Ji tae graduated today and he took 7 years too.
Ha Ji won took 10 years
    Hyori took 9 years
    so on n so forth.

Its hard for them to juggle their careers and school.
Isn’t Geun-Young taking a break from school to do her drama?

    Atleast they finished college. Bravo.

err why do you keep saying she has no choice but to do the sexy thing. she has the vocals to be a ballad singer. hell, her ballad song was doing pretty good off her last album.
I think she can pull off a baek ji young comeback

lol @ xNoodles – what a bunch of deer droppings!

Anyway, kudos to Ivy for finishing. That took alot of work, juggling her career and studies together. The exhaustion must have been overwhelming!

I LIKE IVY! STOP SLAMMING IVY! SHE HAS REAL TALENT AND COMES UP WITH ACTUAL ORIGINAL STUFF UNLIKE THE “HYORIS” AND “SUH IN YOUNGS”.

Ivy ballads sux, she needs to stick with songs like “Cupido” and “Sonate”

Congrats Ivy it took you awhile but you made it.

  17. 17 ayulyn February 23, 2008 at 3:40 am

Yeah, I’m gunna have to agree with everyone else. Everyone wishes they had more time but won’t always have that luxury. Just finishing is ENOUGH and I’m proud of her.

Even If she decided to slack along the way, what’s important is that she finished. It’s her life, xnoodles. Thinking like that is pretty idiotic. >_>

  18. 18 jen February 23, 2008 at 4:39 am

The average is 5-6 years (in America) because not everyone can take 5-6 classes a semester to graduate on time, and some classes don’t transfer to the degree that you want.

does she have rosemary beads in her hand, and she is looking up to god asking for forgiveness?

  29. 30 azndude March 11, 2008 at 11:53 am

At least celebrities in Korea go to college and get an education…in America…if someone gets famous like IVY – an education is not what they will be doing. As for her sex tape – so what – she’s not a virgin. In America…you really can’t “blackmail” a celebrity over a sex tape – they’d say go ahead and release it. LOL!

Her ex-boyfriend is so dumb to “blackmail” her – damn…and it’s not even released for the world to see. He accomplished nothing except get his azz in prison.

“in this competitive world, education is the key”

well, I don’t think the author said “ivy completed her degree in International Studies” or “Ivy completed her degree in Business /Human Recourse” or “ivy completed her degree in Medicine”

the author said that she have completed her degree in theater..which is for me has nothing to do with the real serious education..

there are too many stars who reached the top without even being into school.

so I just feel like “whatever” about her graduation.
