Former uni-brow YG trainee, May Doni is finally debuting after seven years of training. May Doni was one of the participants JYP version of American Idol called JYP’s Talent Development Project, 99% in 2001, along with Wondergirl’s Sun Ye and Joo. She signed on with YG after the show and was coined as the “female Se7en” but she switched management last fall, expediting her debut.
May Doni’s project album titled “PDIS” was produced by Cho PD and Yoon Ill-Sang and is available at all major Korean music sites starting today.

yea the whole world is headin this way, but to see the way korea markets sex is sad. let her grow into her own, dont shove this nasty image onto her from the get go!
I think you got something wrong there Popseoul. The PDIS album is Cho PD and Yoon Ill sang’s project album. May Doni is only featured in one song on the the album. Not including the remix of that song. Her debut is supposed to come out later this year I think o.O.

though she is pretty and i saw the vid where she’s dancing to se7en’s passion and thought she’s awesome….
she has potential…but i hope they don’t heavily promote her image rather than her voice…

this style does not work for her.
I’m not a fan of this look but whatever fits the music. They aren’t going for a slutty look, or else she’d be showing more skin. They’re going for “urban”, chains, fur, pleather, etc. She reminds me a little of a Bratz doll.
If she were singing ballads like Lee Soo Young the look wouldn’t work, but if she’s trying to sing R&Bish pop like Seven and the like, the look fits.
It boils down to whether you believe the image. Same with any artist, especially JYP and L’il John’s protege.
She got a lovely voice!
