Actually, there is some history there but I don’t know to what extent it goes. The truth is they are very good friends. She went to his last birthday celebration. The story goes that Lee Jun Ki once called Lee Hyori by the name meaning “elder sister” but after doing so, Hyori wouldn’t show any romantic interest in him, so he regretted speaking to her like this. He stated (this is a fact, not a rumor) that he saw her “as a woman” and not as “a sister” but he thought he must have ruined any chance he might have had with her by approaching her as an elder. So, whatever the extent of it is or was, Jun Ki had an interest in her at one time. And when Jun Ki expressed to Lee Hyori that he wanted someone to date (he meant HER) she misunderstood and tried to set him up with BoA but there was no interest between BoA and Jun Ki. This is verified by all parties involved.
She is only a few years older than both Jun Ki and Drizzle.
Personally, I think she’s cheap and this is why she can’t get or keep an actual boyfriend. What she does with her male friends is another matter.

확실하게 루머를 퍼뜨리게 하기 위해서 전화 내용도 제 맘데로 만들었고..
형! 저 효리 따먹었….. 일부러 이렇게 말했습니다…
가장 효과가 클것 같아서요…. 가장 남자들이 흔히 하는 말이고 가장 짧으면서 효과가 큰
문장이죠… 그런데 처음에는 생각보다 거짓소문 내기가 힘들었습니다..
7월5일날 방송 들은 사람이 생각보다 많더군요.. 그래서 한주동안 잠수 타다가 7월5일이 아니라
7월 15일에 그랬다며 내용도 퍼뜨렸는데 그때는 김태우씨가 안나왔다구 해서
다시 7월 5일이라고 했죠…. 더이상 제가 흔들리면 거짓인게 탈로 나기때문에 끝까지 우겼죠…..
아이디 7개를 사용해서 다른 사람인척 해서 1인7역을 하며…. 나도 들었다 이러면서…
나에게 통화 내용 파일이 있다.. 이런식으로 웃대에 일부러 재생 안되는 파일도 올렸구요…
그렇게 하다보니…. 오늘까지 오게 되었네요…. 통화 내용 파일을 가지고 계신분은 단 한분도 없는게
당연합니다…. 왜냐하면 그런일이 없었으니깐요…. 다 제 자작극입니다…
더 이상 이 거짓을 퍼뜨렸다가는 정말 정지훈씨에게 죽을 죄를 지은것 같고 또 이효리씨에게도…
요 몇일새 잠을 못 잤습니다…. 죄책감 때문에….. 그래도 어제까지 정신 못차리고 헛소문을 퍼뜨렸죠..
제 글을 읽고 조회수 2500에 육박하고 리플이 70~90개 정도 달린걸 보고 문제의 심각성을 깨달았습니다..
처음에는 몇 몇 친구들에게 내가 헛소문 낸게 지금 검색어 1위다! 라면 친구들에게 자랑 했죠…..
하지만 지금은 그 한계를 넘어 선것 같습니다…

Top actor Rain (24) was victim to the malicious “radio scam” rumours in the internet last year. He was summoned to Court two days ago as the plaintiff for this case.
Recently, the Court accepted Rain’s case and acted upon the person who started this rumour online.
Thereafter, Rain arrived at Court in his black automobile on the 13th. However, because the car could not enter, he got off the car and walked towards the examination room. The cross-examination took about 1 and a half hour. Looking exhausted, Rain was wearing a hat as he walked across the hall on level 1 of the building after the trial when the press discovered him.
Last year July, there was a rumour spreading on the internet about Bi unknowingly revealing his sexual relationship with another female artiste during his conversation with a member of GOD during a KBS radio programme. This rumour spreaded quickly on the internet, and Rain is starting to take a serious stand on this issue.
In another internet rumour at around the same time, Rain supposedly bought drugs at a night club in Vietnam. Rain and JYPE immediately filed reports with the Seoul Police Department on these two malicious rumours.
According to a JYP spokesperson, Rain is now a well-known artiste in the Asia region. This is a very crucial period for him, and having such groundless and untruthful rumours flying around can be immensely damaging to his image. Hence, they cannot ignore the existence of these rumours and will be taking serious legal actions towards the issues.
On the other side, the legal representative of JYPE states that they cannot reveal any details about the case now as it is currently under investigation, and emphasized his stand to take approach this issue seriously.

If the scandal has some truth to it or if it is as it is a rumor, we will never know. But, the fact that neither of them confirmed or denied this issue is enough to stir public interest. After all, as they say, “If there’s smoke, there’s fire”.
Even if the scandal happened five years ago, the fact that people are talking about it today, suggests that the issue was never laid to rest. The fire was never completely put out and every time a new log is thrown in it, it will keep on burning.
Some people will argue that there is no evidence to support the claim that Hyori and Rain slept together. True, but seriously, absence of evidence does not constitute that the crime did not happen. Proving it, is a different story.
But going as far as suggesting that the 24-year-old Rain is still a virgin, is not only a naive remark but stupid. Were you guys in comatose for the past five centuries?
