Shinhwa are urban cowboys who band together to rescue their leader, Eric. The boys have come together to shoot their 9th music video at a studio in Gyonggi. Once the shooting wraps up and the video set for release, the members will join forces to perform on 2 nights (March 29th and 30th) at Olympic Park for the 10 year anniversary.

SS501, dance group, also known as DBSK’s coppycat. DBSK goes to Japan, they go. DBSK returns, they return. Their dance move is not original. So as far as i can see, they will never take a step further unless DBSK is already done that. So yeah, the probability that they advance beyond DBSK is ~subzero%.
And no, i don’t think Shinhwa will pose any threat to DBSK. Their time is long gone with the wind. The only group I consider DBSK’s rival is SG Wannabe. But soooo sad for them, Chae Dong Ha will leave the group in May 08. Can’t tell it’s a bad thing for them though since they will get crazy exposure with the process of select a new member. As for all of the hate dbsk is getting in this board, I don’t think its fair to crap all over them because of a few rather extreme fans *coughdbskgfcoughetccough* You can’t b!tch about how other groups lipsync when dbsk is guilty of the same action. However, I believe this is beyond their hands in Korea. I think, however, that if you were to pull the group apart you will get outstanding voices. There’s no way you can deny the talent that Jaejoong, Junsu or Changmin possesses just as Hyesung has. I think more than anything the problem at hand seems to be time for all of these groups and that’s something that is out of everyone’s hand to prove. Shinhwa is living testament of a lasting band. All else needs to be seen with the other groups. Time will tell :/
PS I was merely using SS501 and Big Bang as examples in who can over take the top spot now in Korea.(I could just as easily pull out F.T Island or Super Junior or any other boy band out there on the market.) I mean there’s news about how Cassio hops to being ELFs so >.>; Their popularity is bound to drop and another group WILL take their spot. No ifs, ands, or buts. In the meanwhile Hwaiting Shinhwa comeback in South Korea, Banzai Tohoshinki in their 3rd live tour in Japan(Where they don’t ever lipsync btw =_=;)

Epik High writes almost all their music, while DBSK writes what like almost nothing…o yes there were a few weren’t there, but compared to epik high that’s nothing. DBSK’s a great group… its their fans that give them a bad rep. its gotten so bad that if watch any kvariety shows that any DBSK member guests in, everyone’s afraid of dissing them because they know that the rabid fangirls will harass them (like SUJU’s Elfs)
On the other hand, I am proud to be a Shinhwa fan… why? Because Shinhwa Changjo (official members or not) are not as petty as the current groups’ fans. maybe its because we’re older and more mature who knows, but just because we love Shinhwa we don’t go around bashing other boybands.
this MV’s concept might be different, but you don’t see any of the younger groups (DBSK,SUJU, Big Bang etc) doing it. Shinhwa just likes to show a different aspect on each of their albums… unlike younger groups who look the same every album (same concept with minor tweaks)
lastly, to all the bashers — Shinhwa might not be the most famous right now, they might be older but 10 years in kpop lends itself to being respected AT LEAST.
but then again, i’m not really expecting RESPECT from silly immature fangirls like “DBSK’s GF”. that would be too much!

@BB- Last Farewell is a big hit because “Lies” did the ground work. Let’s be real. “Lies” is the track that blew BB to it’s stardom that they are now. They were smart to release “Last Farewell” as the follow up because fans were already into “Lies” so to release a song like “Last Farewell” just helps secure the listeners to listen more & fall for BB.
I love BB from there first album my favorite track will be TaeYang’s “Ma Girl” which is a cover from Israel.
Look I’m a BB fan. I think they are all talented. Top is a talented rapper. Taeyang & Daesung are talented singers. GD & Seungri are alright, I guess I’m not that big of a fan of theres. But my point is I love BB but to compare them to Shinhwa is just a joke. BB is not even at Shinhwa’s level.
Shinhwa has numerous successful albums & singles. BB just has a couple of hit songs. I hope BB will be able to achieve what Shinhwa has but like I mention comparing the two & saying BB is better is just WRONG in many ways.
