Although both divas have the task of proving themselves after the sex-video scandal and turning 30 (based on Korean age system), there’s no doubt that Ivy and Hyori will dominate the K-pop scene as they both fight for the prestigious “slutty diva” title of the year.

Please, I rather chew on Se73n’s ass this summer, meaning, I would listen to his album any day thinking it was sweet music to my ears compared to Hyori’s ear killing songs and nails on a chalkboard. Even Jamilla’s trottish album is harmony compared to her ahjumma voice.
I don’t really have a problem with Ivy. But she needs to KNOW when she’s going to far…
And what’s even more disturbing is my aunt is named Ivy too, and she acts almost JUST like Ivy.

I dont mind older singers since Madonna is a hell of a lot older than Ivy or Hyori, but I DO mind crappy older singers that are desperately clinging onto their popularity. That scent reeks. Hyori has never been inventive or particularly talented.

I love Hyori!!! I will definitely buy her next album. It may not be different in Korea, but here in the states, her music is a wonderful variation of the pop sound. I wish they could have released her ‘Get Ya’ video more here in the states. Everyone I show it to get amazed with her.
And 30 is not old on her. To Americans, she looks like she’s 23. Maybe in Korea she looks older. Understand that Americans tend to age very fast. I’m half Korean, and one year I’ll not age, but the next age fast, then back and forth. So, I look at least 4 yrs younger than others my age. It’s funny, so Hyori is not old yet!!!!
