DSP’s new group, Ast1 (pronounced A Style) recently released their “Overthrow Super Junior” (타도 슈퍼주니어) promotional video.
Ast1 is fearlessly expressing that their diverse six member boy-band with four Koreans, one Japanese and one Chinese is better than Super Junior’s thirteen fourteen mediocre members and they are right – nothing can be worse than Super mob.
Let’s just hope that the Elves won’t assassinate Ast1 before their official debut in April.

Hmm… they sound interesting. Either they’re stupid or they’re damn good. Or both.
I’m expecting a lot from them. I won’t judge them until I see what they can do, but I know it certainly grabbed my attention to see them lay down a challenge to one of the most popular Korean bands out there. It’s pretty courageous, if a little suicidal.
Let’s just hope the ELFs won’t ruin things for these guys. It takes a lot of guts to announce themselves like that.

Suju is the best- You are right if cassys and ELFs work together then no other fake groups would even dare to say for them to go against DBSK and SUJU. But would the cassopians do so. ELF are more than 12 million world wide and if you combine them with Cassys it would work. After DBSK fanbase Suju is second.

Lol.. they’ve got courage for challenging SuJu.. but.. I think it’ll just be harder for newbies like them. If they try doing more, lots of fans could hate them.. Cuz as we all know, SuJu is almost known worldwide… And With Super Junior’s years in K-pop industry, they’ve already been through many things, and, if I were that group; A Star or Style or whatever.. I’d gladly befriend SuJu and try learning from them since they’ve got enough experience in Showbiz.
For me, I’m on SuJu’s side. I mean, I’ve seen what SuJu has since 2005. Just wish that nothing goes bad and everything turns to the good side.

-DSP’s always been rivals with SM entertainment. If you look back at the HOT days, HOT was rivaled with their group Sech Kies. It’s just the way it works, and I think if you really look at it, HOT and DBSK, and Shinhwa/Super Junior are very similar too.
