I believe SS501 WILL beat DBSK one day…as much as i hate the admit it, it’s true. WE can only face the facts…jeez u guys…just live with both groups and dun go around dissing the members or the group just bcuz u think the other group is better..-.-

SS501’s short a cappella in that one WGM episode was quite good. I didn’t know they could sing like that. DBSK is known for amazing a cappella, but SS501 isn’t bad at all, in that at least.

But their company’s sheer stupidity of “challenging” two of SM’s bands with the most insane fangirls is near suicide.

1: TVXQ IS THE MOST popular asian boy-band in Asia. Sure other groups might be in your opinion vocally better but doesn’t matter cause TVXQ is the most well known. (and has the biggest fanbase in the world…as stated in guinness worlds record…and those are only the OFFICAL ones…as in the ones that PAY)

2. TVXQ’s fanclub does NOT only include 13-18 year old crazy teens, but people in their 20-40+. BECAUSE their promooted as a VOCAL AND DANCE GROUP<– you get it? as in they have real TALENT and can DANCE. in japan if your promoted as an idol group your a sure FAIL cause Johnny’s rule over japan with with hot ass untalented idols. And if you debut as a vocal group, unless you can sing real good live, cause you have to sing live EVERY SINGLE time, you aint making it big.

3. FANBASE doesnt matter? are you high? what makes you think allows the artists to make it big? allows them to become popular? THEIR FANS!!! -.-; stupid remark.

4. Their not well known in Japan…? i wonder if thats true…
A. They became the first foreign artist in history to have three number 1 singles on the Oricon Weekly Chart (sold 68,000 in the FIRST week.)
B. Biggest fanbase in Avex
C. DBSK was onHEY! HEY! HEY! Music Champ (one of the few most prominent shows in Japan) on 4/14/08 and the show had it’s highest ratings of 2008 at 12.5%.
D.TVXQ was appointed the “Goodwill Ambassador for Asia” by Universal Studios Japan and 8,000 ppl came for that -.-;
E. They went on a A-nation tour with other prominent artists in Japan such as Koda kumi, AAA, Otsuka Ai, and others. (They were invted for 4 years in a row.)

****** And STOP BASHING BOTH SS501 AND DBSK. Either their talented or “they suck” or whatever, its everyones own opinion.

Second point: fans, fangirls (many of them idiotic, no offense) can argue all they want about who’s better. But then again most of the time, it’s a who’s hotter competition. I think you can’t blame anyone for being popular, just because you don’t like them yourself. There has been a lot of artists that had a lot of exposure, but if the general public doesn’t embrace you, you go down the hill eventually.

I don’t want to see anymore SS501 vs. DBSK talents or looks or whatever. I’m a guy, and I have to say DBSK wins it all. DBSK has very impressive vocals, each and every one of them, and by impressive I actually mean better than most singers I have ever heard. They sing live better than recordings sometimes, they can dance (especially Yunho) VERY well, and they have very humble personalities. They also have really good looks, but not just any good looks. SS501 looks more like a Japanese boyband wanna-be, but DBSK has a unique image. They look different, but they look good. You can’t compare to that. SS501 just looks like any other long-dyed-hair boyband group I’ve seen.

DBSK cannot be compared. Don’t even tell me XXXXX is better. Hardly any group beats them in looks, and if they do, they lose in talent. And vice versa. It appeared to me that it was by god’s intervention that DBSK came together. Really deserves the meaning behind their band name. For a boyband that looks so good, their singing is also top-notch. Most really good looking boybands have members that were recruited due to looks, or were models beforehand. Not DBSK. Each and every one of them won talent contests. SM was lucky that JaeJoong, the best looks and singing contestant, happened to appear in that time frame.

Really, the only thing DBSK lacks is playing instruments or composing or whatever. Micky, as far as I know, has composed a few songs and his ‘Holding back the tears’ has made me obsessed. Then again, they don’t really need those technical aspects of music. Combined together, they are an extra acapella group, with distinct vocals that cannot be beaten: Xiah has a very unique and nice voice, Micky has a sort of melancholic and manly side to his voice, Hero’s is very powerful, high, and soft at the same time, Max’s is high to a point that it’s a wow factor (his high notes are almost on-par with record holders, seriously), and Yunho’s balances it out with the lower notes, and his dancing makes up for it anyways.

Well that’s all I gotta say.
Though I am certainly biased towards DBSK (but isn’t that because they’re so good in the first place that attracted my attention?), I have to say they beat every other boyband hands down.

Oh and to Japanese bands being better… find me a boyband that isn’t band-instruments based and is equally good-looking, vocally talented, good at dancing, and tall. Oh, and is dominating the Korean market as well. No right? That’s what I thought.

some of DBSK fans might have already said or thought SS501 members’ personalities suck. but HOW DO YOU KNOW?? you have never met them in real life. and i DOUBT you guys met DBSK in real life either.

we all have our own opinions about each group. but one thing i DEFINITELY know is that this article is a FAKE. SS501 never tried to challenge JUST them. SS501 and all the other singers challenge all the other singers who are better than them. it is true that DSBK is winning the competetion of ALL the singers, but it doesnt mean that all the other singers have to STOP TRYING to be #1. once DBSK is out of their league, then who is going to be #1 if nobody was trying??

why take all the blame on SS501, when ALL the bands are trying to beat DBSK? DBSK is not going to be #1 forever. therefore everyone is challenging everybody else.
so no need to fight over this nonsense shit.

and SS501 is NOT PATHETIC for TRYING. at least they are trying, and not giving up. is it okay for you to stop trying if someone else is #1??
we should all be encouraging and rewarding all the other singers for at least trying and giving us good/great music to listen to.

once in a while we all get a little bored of listening to the same songs over and OVER again. dont we?
