Proceeding with proper funeral arrangements, Lee Dong Gun returned to Korea from Sydney Australia, bringing with him the urn containing the cremated ashes of his younger brother Lee Joon Yub (21).
Lee Joon Yub was murdered on March 21st in Sydney in a fight with two Chinese hoodlums, Ivan Lee and Michael Wong who were later arrested for murder. Both men are rumored to be associated with an underworld crime organization.
The urn will be housed in the mourning hall of Samsung Medical Center for 4 days so that formal respects can be paid to the body. Catholic mass will be observed for the body on March 31st.
Also in mourning attendance was Han Ji Hye, Lee Dong Gun’s former girlfriend. It’s touching to see that there are no sour feelings between the two exes.
A funeral was held for Lee Dong-gun’s brother at St. John’s College Chapel (below) in the University of Sydney on March 26th.Lee Dong-gun is going through a tough year so far - break up with actress girlfriend Han Ji-hye in January and now the tragic death of his younger brother.

All i can say is I pray that Lee Dong gun and his family somehow pass this moment of sadness and I hope those criminal pay for what they did.

much here, so, so far I haven’t heard anything.

what’s eased a little bit the mood is the fact that Han Ji Hye decided to pay respect to his brother despite her recent brake up. It creates some admiration for her, because most of the time when couples brake up they try to distance themselves from each other after that.
