The preview looks pretty crappy. And i loved the original My Sassy Girl. And yes, Hollywood seems to copy so many asian movie...And always manage to make it a dumbed down version with horrible acting and story is much weaker...Search movies like The Eye for example. The american version was lame. Check out many more movies... what's going on hollywood? stop making such craptacular copies. They need to start being more original. Sigh. It seems darker and doesn't have that funny outrageous spark. Does it take place entirely in the gloomy surreal like bowls of the earth aka subway? It makes me wonder who culturally specific elements of films are and who they are hiring to rework the movies. I think a more literal translation (zany, silly) would have done realy well given the current US market for low-brow comedies. If I never watched My Sassy Girl or knew about it, I'm still not sure I'd want to watch this (US remake) film. I'm curious to see how 'My Wife Is a Gangster' turns out.
