He-she Harisu does a good job of embracing her newly found femininity, but sometimes I wonder if she qualifies for some of her gigs. On top of being the spokes person for feminine hygiene products, Harisu is set to release a beauty book in Japan. Her book includes diet tips, dating advice and some home made recipes. I wonder if she included a chapter on how to come out of the closet.
You can check out Harisu’s new book in Japan on April 28th.

yikes!
the idiots are the ones that will feel compelled to buy products such as the hygiene products, advertised by harisu…thats beyond me. wtf are those people thinking… cutting your dingiling and taking hormones doesn`t make you magically have periods… c`mon now
lawl
I don’t know if I’m okay with that… Just ’cause you look like a woman, doesn’t mean you are, weirdo.
Don’t see anything wrong in Harisu giving beauty tips? - you see lots of (gay) fashion guys giving beauty tips… and some of them seems to be okay.
But I agree with “Vertigo”…. Harisu shouldn’t advterise hygiene product.. That’s just stupid
I didn’t know there were so many homophobic retards on these forms.
If he feels like a woman, if he wants to be a woman, then I completely and totally support him. Not because I like her as an artist per say - but it’s a person’s personal decision to be what gender they want. Just because you’re born with the male genitals, doesn’t mean that you’re necessarily a ‘man’, physically or otherwise.
i think i would buy it if it were sold here…i wonder what sort of recipes she has to offer..
I would NOT be surprised
to find a chapter on MEATBALLS
in her RECIPE book.
is the advice really for women?
women who spent their childhood as girls?
physically as girls.
aren’t gays and transgender less shocking in japan anyway? anything that’s slightly different from the norm, qualifies as media personality. in the end it’s just pushing products: news, cellphone, feminine hygiene, lifestyle.
@Shatasi
I agree with you.
Besides, I think the entry and some comments are very cruel and offensive. Did Harisu do something wrong? I think born in a wrong body is painful enough…
harisu has a better body than half the woman up here. srsly tho.
Oh come on, rubbing in the fact that she’s transgendered is getting old. She’s gorgeous and her body’s in top shape, so alluding to the fact that she was a man only makes us regular women look worse. And she’s technically a woman now, so she isn’t gay either, not that there’s anything wrong with being gay.
Wow some of these comments are STUPID. AS. HELL!!!! LMAO
@ Shatasi
please save yourself the embarrasment of any further comments. You don’t have to be a homophobe to think that a transgender MAN selling tampons is weird, funny, and a bit disrespectful to REAL WOMEN out there. In the commercial advertising pads he says “I wish I could do one thing.” What REAL WOMAN likes her period? Who likes cramps, bloating, headaches, fatigue, and not to mention missing an entire week out of almost EVERY month of their lives?!? And he wants a period? Why, so he can get the whole “female” expericence?
I’m not homophobic at all, but you need to realize that harisu is a MAN! M-A-N! Whether you believe he has psychological problems or emotional problems/identity problems etc. that make him want to be something that he’s not is beside the point. The point is that just because he FEELS like being a woman, and feels that he is one now, does not make him a woman.
If you are born with male genitals then YES, you are a man. What difference does that make? A WORLD of difference! Anatomy determines what sex we are, not “feelings.” Please read a book or o your research instead of jumping on the “gay pride” bandwagon to sound open-minded. And please…don’t be angry. I’m not attacking you, so don’t be mad. Just do better…
“How to Keep It Tucked Under 101″ by Hairy Sue
Seriously, if you’re born with male genitals and NOT female genitals, you will always bilogical MAN. Surgery only changes you anatomically, not biologically. Harisu has to take hormones to appear more feminine. He had to have surgery to appear to have the same parts a woman does.
He can peddle feminine hygiene products and beauty advice. He can even wear feminine hygiene products if he wants to (not that he needs them). If that’s what he wants to do, that’s his free will- more power to him. He can lead a lot of people to believe he really is a woman, but don’t kid yourself into thinking that he EVER had a chance at being able sqeeze a child out of that thing.
gag me. i don’t even know where to begin on my thoughts about this he/she and her/his boyfriend, who obviously is under some type of spell.
why would a normal man date a woman who used to be a man?
it’s so sick to look at he/she’s face. honey, you are a MAN. and your poor boyfriend is dating you for the media’s attention.
@ Kylie.
I wasn’t talking about the tampon ad, so maybe actually read my post again, moron.
@ Kylie
Part of menstruating is shedding the uterine lining, which, if you didn’t know, is where a baby is when a woman is pregnant. Maybe she wants to have her own baby?
I’m an anti-homosexuality..I’m not saying that I hate them or something..but I’m sure there is a way to treat them.
but anyway some ppl think its a moral issue which a person can change..and some ppl think that its a scientific and natural issue that a person can not change.
and I believe its in between, but I also believe its a psychological illness.
I personally know someone who was in love with his classmate and didn’t have any passion for women. he went to a therapist and invested more in his religion.. now hes married…to a girl XD
so it still a person’s dissension..if u try to be a homo then eventually you’ll be one…and if u are a homo and try to be a straight also eventually you’ll become a straight. However the later is more difficult because u will have to fight as a natural straight humanbeing against ur animal instincts.
Anyway….it seems that the media like Harisu_ media isn’t always gonna be right and isn’t always gonna fit what we believe_ from the looks it seems like he gains so many attention and “money” so whatever.
Yay…now I have something to be proud about. The book will be released on my birthday. Yeah man, that’s what I want to request as my birthday gift. Heheheh…now that Harisu’s face looks different and less feminine, I start to think that she would have been a pretty good-looking guy if she remained one. Just an observation. Personally, I don’t think we’ll ever solve the issue whether homosexuality/heterosexuality is biological or socially “learned.” It is what it is..heck, some people go through phases. Some stick with their sexual preference and other change permanently. Some people have same sex crushes or admirations but don’t have the desire to form a relationship. I think you’re old fashion if you think homosexuality is a psychological illness. Heck I even think we all got a little homo in us. Although it would make sense for Harisu to experience menstruation, that is not possible (as of now). But I suppose she can share other aspects with women such as discrimination, sexism, and emotional experiences.
@ Shatasi
Is the name-calling really necessary to get your point across? How can you defend someone when YOU are putting others down? Does that not contradict your post? I didn’t say your comment had anything to do with the commercial. It’s called a REFERENCE! I only pointed out the silliness of your comment by saying that someone can’t change what they are just because of a “personal decision.” Can I turn into a bird? Even if I was born a human, but felt like a bird my entire life? Really can I? Even if I get surgically implanted wings? lol Didn’t I tell you not to get mad? Now, go sit down somwhere!
@ ky
Yes, I did know that, but thank you for pointing that out to the kids who don’t know.
However, in the commercial, it advertised PADS, which are for MENSTRATION! In the commercial Harisu said the one thing he can’t do is MENSTRATE, not have a baby. You can pick out whatever message you think the ad conveys, but people take commercials for what they are: commercials. Don’t make that too complicated. Let me ask you this: If they put me in a commercial for hello kitty socks and I say, “They’re only types of socks I don’t have!” Does that mean I’m trying to recapture my youth or channel my inner child? No! Maybe I just want some damn hello kitty socks!!!! Don’t look too deep into stuff lol
he/she looks so pretty in here… she/he has better body more than anyone i know.. that’s totaly unfair.. but anyways, i support with everyone, she/he should not sell hygiene products.. she/he should just stick with beauty products or products that suits her/him well. but anyways, good luck for him/her..
@ Kylie
judging from your April 3, 2008 at 5:59 am post,
you must be transgender-phobic
Harisu is now PRETTY MUCH a women, she has all the right to do a tampon/(wotever women needs) ad. I mean, what do you expect her to do? A lynx ad? Clearly you have a psychological barrier in accepting HER as a man, this is YOUR personal issue. QUOTE: “harisu is a MAN! M-A-N!” I can almost imagine you clawing your scalp with your eyes bursting out bloodshot and frantically typing those words. GEE, chill.
QUOTE:”The point is that just because he FEELS like being a woman, and feels that he is one now, does not make him a woman.” BECAUSE YOU CAN’T HANDLE IT.
I’m a ‘real’ woman, and i assume so are you and Shatasi and ky. But our different way of judging Harisu, or in a broader scope—TRANSGENDER, really displays our different levels of maturity. I don’t like Harisu, but i respect her for being a transgender, and as a public figure, i RESPECT what she does in the entertainment biz.
I’ll see the real maturity in you if you take this comment and shut up about your phobia.
even if you don’t agree with her choice of getting a sex change, how did it hurt anyone? she’s the one who has to deal with the surgeries, hormones, and disrespectful comments, not you, so it’s confusing why people talk as if she has personally done them wrong. what horrible scandal has she had or cruel thing has she done to deserve so many hateful comments? personally i try to reserve my angry comments for people who really deserve it, not someone just trying to live their life & be happy
I have to admit…he looks good…
I agree with you “Ok..” =}
Everyone has different values and moral behavior.
@ bewise
Please don’t try to use reverse psychology on me. Replying to a mere comment does not display immaturiry or maturity.
It’s funny that everytime someone disagrees in the SLIGHTEST with a sensitive issue like homosexuality, they have to have a phobia, and then people LIKE YOU can’t wait to prove your “acceptance” and vast “open-mindedness” of the subject by putting others down or calling them ignorant. It’s also funny that in your, and everyone else’s responses to my posts, you can’t seem to argue your points without name-calling. How childish and NON PERSUASIVE is that? (Note: if you want to try to change someone’s mind, try not to insult them first). I resent the fact that you called me a homophobe, transgenderphobe, or whatever. Did I ever state that I disliked Hari-su? Did I ever state anything other than the obvious of her being a MAN? No. If you really read my posts as carefully as u claimed, then you would have noticed that!
There is no such thing as “pretty much” woman. You are either a woman or a man. Once again, just because I surgically implant wings, feathers, and take hormones to grow a beak, does that “pretty much” make me bird? No. I’m human, no matter what procedures I get to prove otherwise.
Also, no one ever said that Harisu didn’t have the right to advertise whatever she wanted. I stated that the ad was offensive to REAL women. Why? Because HE will never know what it feels like to REALLY be one. He will never know our experiences, and struggles socially, physically, and emotionally. What if a White person wanted to be Korean? He could get eyelid surgery, learn the Korean language better than us, and listen to K-pop all he wanted, but he could never be Korean. Why? Because he will never know what it really feels like to be one. He’ll never know their experiences, and struggles. We call people like that wannabes (or in this case Asiaphiles…no one like them >_< lol) Bottom line, you cannot be what you are not.
P.S. You have a vivid imagination. I didn’t do any of that stuff….calm down
^if you know its a sensitive topic, then shut up.
not trying to offend you ya know, but just doing everybody a favor here. your comment is way too long to get any point across.
AND you still sound very homophobic
so please shut up
Anyway, she has a very nice waist. I see nothing wrong about the fact that she’s going to give her diet tip.
okay its fine that she’s giving beauty tips or diet tips and stuff. I wouldn’t mind reading that beauty book. ^^
…but feminie hygiene products? erm…Theres just that border you shouldn’t cross.
@Kylie
I got your point:
only REAL natural women understand what women need.
all I have to say that Harisu is a fruitcake
and not every one of us is a fruit fly.
Dating tips…her’s might come in handy since she was once a man?
^hahaha!
i just hope she’s happy with the
path she chose…^^;;;
@ wow
if you hadn’t noticed…it’s a forum which means I can post whatever I want for as long as I want (and sadly you can too)….If you are too lazy to read it, simply don’t read it. I won’t apologize for your short attention span. And obviously you NEEDED to read all of it, because u are still calling me a homophobe with no valid evidence to support your claim. So don’t speak for everyone if you can’t even get your own facts straight, hun
P.S. Was that short enough for ya? If not, it’s probably because it’s late and past your bedtime. Nighty night ^_^
^ that’s me….
*see my april fool’s joke on the other page LMAO!!!!! I can’t believe I forgot to log out! XD XD XD XD
Popseoul don’t kill me! lol ~_~ uhhhhh…April Fool’s??? he…hehe…
^ get over youself, no one is laughing.
@ kylie
you are delirious. Is it really fun defending yourself from mass criticisms? coming back to this forum every 2 seconds to Flame everybody here who has criticised you for your low comment, fun and sad isn’t it? well, thats what you get for ur comments. now suck it up
wow, people are debating over whether she/he is a man or a woman. To me, she looks like a woman but biologically, he is a man because her cell’s DNA is still XY, not XX, that is scientifically speaking. If you guys didn’t know, there is a transgender going from female to male, who still got pregnant after she stopped taking hormones. Therefore, he is still a woman because she can still give birth. Google it if u want. i’m lazy to give links.
ooppss i was all over with the he/she/him/her didn’t I? sorry folks.
@ Flippers
again with the name-calling? Don’t confuse yourself. The April Fools post has nothing to do with my posts in this topic. Are you speaking about yourself, maybe? Were you ranting at me from different aliases? It seems like it because you keep coming at me with the SAME argument! Perhaps I have been speaking to the same person all along who just can’t get over the fact that Harisu is a man…really, is it that hard to understand? Get a hold of yourself. Everyone realizes this except you
@ PopSeoul (another copy of course)
popseol’s letters are in red, sweetie…nice try ^_~
@Kylie.. actually the real popseoul is the one with the avatar.
i have to agree with uhh
whether harisu likes it or not, her DNA is still male
(im using her because legally she is a woman now)
its okay to release a beauty book but the feminine hygiene products i dont know..
this isnt about her going through the operations to turn into a she, it’s her body anyways, its her money too
its just weird with the hygiene ads
@ Uhh..
Oh I just noticed something. I did here about the lady that was transgendered to a man and was able to get pregnant since she stopped taking hormones but in Harisu or any man turned into a lady it is different. Since Harisu does not have a uterus so she can’t give birth. As of now, Uterus transplants do not occur in the world so it would be impossible for Harisu to give birth. Also, Harisu probaly doesn’t have any ovaries either, I’m not sure. Harisu proably got a vaginoplasty and other surgeries done.
Not trying to argue or anything like many of the other people on this have been doing. Just thought that I should add in a little more info for your comment.
/@ everyone
But I agree, let Harisu be whatever he/she wants. Its not hurting anyone, so it really shouldn’t be anyones problem.
@ uhh, joyce, and mina
YES! OMG That is like, ALL I WAS TRYING TO SAY! (I may have taken longer to say it…but when it comes from three different people, it doesn’t look so long lol)Thank you… My original post was simply stating that people need to stop getting angry and calling people homophobes/transgenderphoves at the fact that Harisu is still called a man! Did I really have to be called out of my name for that? I enjoy a good, healthy debate just as much as the next person, but really…was it that serious?
Am I a homophobe for saying that she is a guy and women could find it offensive that he is selling feminine products (not make-up, but menstral items)? lol if I got a sex change could I sell viagra? That was all I was trying to say…whew! GOOD NIGHT ^_^
@ joyce
yeah, that too! But I just remember that PopSeoul’s posts are the ones with the red letters lol ;p
kylie…
you’re so… long-winded… and easily peeved. I just didn’t feel like reading the comments after you posted, siiiiggghhhh
get off your damn high horse. why do you care so much if someone disagrees with you?
oh my…that biatch used to be a man? whhhhhhhart. no wonder i see treasure trail there or is it. did he cut IT off? oh my gawd tellll
I agree with Kylie. Harisu is a MAN. He can pretend all he wants and have a doctor chop off his goods and use the parts to create something that grotesquely resembles the outer parts of a woman’s sex organs, but that does NOT make him a woman. Like I have said before, there is no surgery for changing chromosomes and DNA. He also still as the insides of a man. He does not have a uterus, a vagina, or a womb. This is just a mentally ill person who did not receive the mental health care he needed when he was young.
sure i don’t want to take dating advise from “her”. For almost of “her” life “she” never thinks of herself as a man and other people didn’t see “herself” as a woman, What are there to take? For the Hygiene product part.LOLZZZ.”she” doesn’t even have eggs to have periods . What does she know about tampons and tampax?
@ 3073woat
because it’s a forum….that’s what we do….*rolls eyes*
and I don’t like horses…they’re scary lol
I have nothing against transgender people because it’s a choice they make, but he’s never gone through menstruation, nor have to worry about getting pregnant, and having natural female hormones generated by ovaries. Having them affects women emotionally, psychologically and physically, and he’s never experienced it.
It’s a little ridiculous for him to give advice about how a woman should feel/look beautiful. It’s fine if he writes a beauty book based purely on aesthetics and cosmetics, but he doesn’t qualify psychologically and emotionally as a woman. This has nothing to do with personal preferences, but facts, he’s just not a credible source. However, I think people will be interested in his views on what it takes to be beautiful and but not really take it seriously. It may be a fun read. That’s his whole gimmick- step over that line thinking he’s woman enough to do it and thereby attracting attention.
