Super Junior performed in front of 12 thousand screaming (mostly) female fans at the “Super Junior 1st Premium Event in Japan” on July 8th in Tokyo. And another 13 thousand fans showed up for the “1st Asia Tour Super Show” in Bangkok on July 12th, 2008. That’s 25 thousand crazy fans!!
Super Junior will continue to collect fans on their Asia Tour in Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur.
Super Junior, nominated for “Favorite Artist Korea” and “Artist of Asia” will be attending the MTV Asia Awards 2008 on August 2nd.

I agree. But when you think about it, when DBSK first came to Japan, after their album and promos, they said they had to only perform in front of 500 people sometimes.
But for Super Junior, this is their first concert in Japan and they havent even done any promos. And they also got #4 on Oricon chart without promoting album. And they havent even debuted there too.
So 12,000, even when compared to 100,000, is alot! ^_____^

suju doesn’t even promote in japan and they got so much fans support for them..and this is the first time their single is out in japan..they’re on top 4 in oricon chart!!!e
I love both, DBSK and SuJu. But you gotta think about how hard DBSK worked to help make a place for Korean artists in Japan. So for the most part, I give DBSK more credit – they’ve been in the industry longer. But I’m so proud of SuJu, of course, so I’ll shut up and enjoy the news. x]

Why the heck are people dragging into DBSK this? First off, DBSK has nothing in Korea that is worth the credit for them to be nominated in the MTV Asia Awards – I don’t even know why people are mentioning that. Second off, DBSK has been doing promotions in Japan since 2005 and Super Junior has done none. Yes, DBSK performing in an audience of over 120,000 is amazing, but considering for a foreign group like Super Junior, who has done nothing in Japan, to perform in an audience of 120,000 AND make it within the top 5 places on the Oricon Chart competing with other new releases is also amazing. Honestly, I wasn’t even expecting Super Junior to do this well. I’m quite shocked.
