Hyun bin’s management company, Star M, recently released a statement announcing that the Princess of United Arabs Emirates, H.H. Sheikha Maitha Al Maktoum has requested for the Korean hottie’s autograph.
The princess, who led the United Arabs Emirates’ (UAE) Karate team is an avid fan of popular Korean dramas such as “My Name is Kim Sam Soon”, “Winter Sonata”, and “Dae-jang-geum”.
Why stop at an autograph? Why not just invite the pork promoter to Dubai?

Just a correction (I’m from the UAE btw), Shaikha Maitha is not “The” Princess of the UAE, she is only the daughter of the prime minister/Dubai’s ruler and Vice President of the UAE Shaikh Mohammed Al Maktoom. She is royalty, but she is not called a Princess, only a Shaikha.

He’s cute. But SHK must be rather sad to co-star with actors of new generation like him. She is more famous, more experienced. She should act with more matured actors such as LBH, SSH or WB or the other of that type.
StarM is just relentless in feeding my annoyance of them. Just when I can let it slide with them whoring out binnie to Japanese Fanclub exclusive events all of 2007 (and no substantial work), now they have to go get some random publicity leaking this out.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to read Her Highness asking for an autograph, but just coz she’s royalty did not make this newsworthy. What set her apart from all the other ‘commoner’ fans?
To Noire: Yes Miss SHK is more famous and more experienced, but for each role and each project there are differences. I think Miss SHK and her fans better focus on her role and doing her best acting job to date rather than repeating old pairings. There are many way more experienced actresses playing terrific roles as moms or older mesmerising strong ladies with way younger brilliant actors and still acting sparks will fly if they have the acting chops befitting the role.
And I’ve never considered LBH, SSH or WB same type of actors other than they were past costars of Miss SHK. They have very drastic different acting styles and aura.
