On July 31, Lee Hyori and Suh In-Young performed head to head on Mnet Countdown (yah, we know it’s a bit late-and?). Although both performances were well received by fans, it was obvious that A’nt was no competition against the real pop diva.
U know Hyorish’s experience showed. Not only did the popdiva work up the crowd but she also knew what to do with the cameras - making eye contact and commanding stage presence. In contrast, Suh In-Young was no match for Hyorish’s experience. Her weak attempt on stage has pushed Hyorish into the lead with another point.
And A’nt couldn’t compete with the lineup. Hyorish had a string of polished performances with “U Go Girl” and a special of “Red Car” with SG Wannabe’s Kim Jin Ho.
Miss Suh better keep on her toes to remain in this competition against Hyorish. But, if the picture is any indication, Suh In-Young already knows her end is near….?

This competition only exist within Popseoul and as many of you know, they are completely biased. Keep in mind, these ‘votes’ are completely out of its viewers hand when they think that their vote counts!
I rather highly disagree with Popseoul because if you’re rating based on their songs, my vote is with In Young. If you’re rating it on overall popularity, I vote Hyori, if you vote it on wardrobe based on THIS performance, my vote is Hyori as well. Although, if you’re rating the best ‘dance’ from that Shim Man Man, my vote is In Young due to originality considering she didn’t dance to her own number.
In addition, Hyori copies Britney Spears while In Young copies Christina Aguilera; therefore, Hyori is a performer while In Young could sing! I like both Hyori and In Young equally and this whole ‘competition’ happens all the time.
In the end, who really cares! Both are good artists/performer and many can only hope they were Hyori or In Young.
And actually, I like Hyori’s song too (the best song in her album) but isn’t she lipsynching? Her cowboy outfit isn’t doing much for me considering I’m from the country!

Having props helps catch the audience attention (sometimes can be distracting) while SIY doesnt really use props that much so u maintain ur attention on her…..
