It’s about time stars get some color. Being on the golden side, this POPSEOUL! sister has sometimes gotten flack for being “darker” than the Korean ideal (i.e. white). Many moons ago, a narrow minded guy asked point blank, “Why are you so dark?” –huh? How are you suppose to answer that? I fired back with “I was born that way- got a problem? you bleep!” (Ok, I didn’t say the “bleep” part but wanted to…)
So it’s good to see that some of the stars are choosing to be more golden- even if it is fake. Dressed in Gucci, Kim Jung-eun has recently shed her pale skin for a more warmer hue at the Fall/Winter 08/09 Collection for Gucci at W Hotel on August 8th 2008.
hehe I still think she is pretty! her plastic surgeon did a great job.
Even if she did get plastic surgery, she’s still a great actress. And obviously they did a fantastic job on her face because she’s beautiful, so good for her.
She’s a good actress but I don’t find her attractive at all (she reminds me of a combination of a scheming cat and a chipmunk).
But I agree that it’s nice to see some more Korean stars have some colour.
i think her skin is pretty this tan color, why do Koreans think its ideal to be paler? i think to have some color on your skin is better, then lookin like a ghost

Honestly, I do prefer pale-white skin just because I live in the U.S. and I think it’s gross looking at those really orange fake tanned girls, but I do like Kim Jung-Eun’s tan. I think she looks pretty like this because it makes her different from the average “white” Korean girl and it goes really well on her.

Naturally brown skin is beautiful. Sun-baked skin the color of a roaster is not. Trust me, ladies and gents, however you treat your skin now, it’ll repay you later with interest.

it annoys me so much how people say looking tan makes you look “healthy”. why can’t we just embrace our own skin colors?? attitude like that is what makes all these girls get fake tans, which eventually leads to skin cancer, which eventually leads to death. if you REALLY want to be healthy, dont get a fake tan and take care of your skin!!

Kim jung eun dress is cute and the style is nice even the shoes I like it.The black nylon does’nt compliment the dress at all. But the GUCCI people want them to wear it for the fashion show.Kim jung eun is always beautiful and gorgeous to me and she’s one of the best actress in korea.
