This can’t be the same person! After winning the crown of Miss Korea 2008, Nari is trying to do damage control by releasing normal pictures of herself looking her real age. If this is what 23 year old Yonsei student really looks like (albeit some major graphic alternations), then who is in the hell is the woman who snagged the title of Miss Korea?

@ Ummm: Well not everyone feels the same. I’d rather see and ordinary (can be work on later) intelligent chick than someone who’s intelligence is the same level as a lobster taking the crown.
i can see why they picked her. she’s very personable in her interviews, sounds intelligent with a great bearing that can be a politician (or his wife
) they went with “substance” this time, or what looks like it in a beauty pageant.
i think she looks more charismatic (even without the glasses) than, say, the girls next to her or the other miss Korea contestants who look like the same, conservative Korean beauties…
Good luck to her, I know she isn’t exactly the best looking but she was obviously chosen for a reason

lol, *everybody* looks good in selcas because the person has control over positioning themselves and the camera, plus you can take 20+ pictures and pick the best one. Then follow up in Photoshop with some color editing, leveling, and airbrushing. I know from personal experience.. >_>

I think she looks pretty.. average(ish). She’s probably not very photogenic. It’s strange, but some people actually look better in selca than in professional photos.

Yeah, what’s with the crappy quality on the first pic. The other two looks good because she has glasses on. Without it…not so great. She’s aight, but not worth Ms. Korea or representing Korea. Just don’t embarass Korea by sending her to the Miss Universe competetion…everyone is going to think the same as we are…doesn’t matter about brains at this point.

In the pageant, you can see the shape of her face, and she resembles Fiona or Shrek.
Still, she looks much older than her 23 years…
