Father and daughter are in Beijing as part of the cheer team for the Korean athletes participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
On August 11th, 2008, Korea has come away with a gold in Men’s Archery and Silver medal for Wang Ki-chun in Judo (73kg). Go Korea Go!

Park Tae Hwan can definitely get on the podium in the 200 m but I have a hard, hard time seeing him beat a determined Michael Phelps. Phelps is the Greatest of All Times. Even better then Thorpe.

Phelps had to conserve his energy for the 4×100 relay which he had to do like 30 minutes later. Phelps broke (and smashed) the world record last year and 200m freestyle is one of his strong events. He will win.

Actress Chae Rim (채림) and singer Chae Yun (채연), who were classmates in Seoul Institute of the Arts, suddenly bump into each other in Beijing, China. They haven’t seen each other since their debuts in the Korean entertainment world.
CR and CY, who entered Seoul Institute of the Arts in 1998 and became classmates, come across each other in a Korean restaurant at Beijing. Upon seeing each other, they hug each other.
Chae Yun is in the first team of ‘Entertainers Expeditionary Team’ attending Beijing Olympic Games to cheer for South Korean National Team. She cheered for the archery team at the archery range during daytime of 8/10 and then goes to a Korean restaurant with other entertainers to eat dinner.
In the meantime, Chae Rim, comedian Lee Young Ja (이영자) and singer Kim Chang Ryul (김창렬), who are filming for the “Olympic Games Special” of TV program “Live Talk Show – Taxi (현장토크쇼 택시)” for cable channel tvN, are also eating dinner at the same restaurant. Although it seems a little bit awkward when Chae Rim and Chae Yun shake hands with each other because they haven’t seen each other for a long time, they smile and gladly greet each other a hug.
Chae Rim says with a smile, “Both of us have been busy after our debuts. This is the first time we directly meet each other since our debuts.”
It is great that Chae Rim and Chae Yun come across each other at Beijing.

Aw, that’s really sweet of Chaeyeon. She’s actually rather close with her father, and it’s really cute to see that he is advertising her Bequem products (although the hat itself is rather feminine of a style). Chaeyeon’s looking great, as is Eva!
