A heavy hand was used on the photoshop for Eva. Just imagine seeing the enhanced version and then looking at the real stumps (right). Eva, just be happy with the moos that you got.
Hyori’s thighs always looked suspiciously thin. Again, good to see some meat on those thighs. Just means the pop princess is like the rest of us.
Can this be for real? Jun Ji-hyun is known for her long limbs and sexy moves, but this just proves that even seemingly perfect looking girls need some digital help too.
And the same applies to Yun Eun-hye? her incredibly long legs just didn’t seem real.

BoA is a shortie but the comparison pics make it worse. The girl has heels, tighter jeans, and the shot is taken from above in the long-legged pic. Eheh…but it’s a laugh to know she’s shorter than my mom.
Same with Eva. Esp in the short legged pic, she’s wearing a high waisted dress. Plus an above shot. Also, she has backlighting, thinning her legs in the long pic.
Hyolee…eh, it’s pretty obvious she’s got great legs all the time so a tweak with Photoshop is okay I think. I can’t really tell anyway.
JJH is def b/c of camera angle. The shot was taken from her left, angled to go up her legs a bit. The rest of her body is angled farther back. Short-leg pic is taken from her torso angle.
EYH? Angle shot to some degree. But I don’t think some photoshop would’ve gone amiss.

Yeah, YEH has lotsa photoshop. in that pic it looks worse than it is bc of the angle but if you see coffee prince, she has normal length legs (in the drama, since shes boyish, she doesnt wear heels or anything like) but in photoshoots she looks really long O.O
I think BoA looks better in slouchy jeans and flat sneakers than the floor-length trousers and three-inch heels that are often worn to try to make the legs look longer.

I’d like to ask the same question, too. I personally get most of pants from Charlotte Russe. Their “short” is ACTUALLY short, meaning for shortie Asians like us. ^o^ I heard American Eagle’s “short” is pretty short, too.

well… designers photoshop too much nowadays. they make celebs look inhuman and barbielike. no wonder women nowadays crave for beauty standards, that are impossible to achieve.

First of all, you’d have to consider the style of the pants. Different styles gives you different look. Secondly, you have to get a clear picture of the comparison to get a better view. Thirdly, people have lost weight; therefore, the thighs change as well (or hope to do so!).
And lastly, of course many pictures are airbrushed! That’s a given!

I have long legs and am 100% korean. My legs look great in pants not so good in shorts or short skirts since I have knobby, boney knees. You can’t have everything.
I notice sometimes I’ll see a 5′3 asian girl wearing 3 inch heels with jeans and they still look like they have stubby legs and I wonder, “what do they look like without the heels?” I don’t mean to be mean but I’m sure I’m not the first to have noticed this.

the long legs effect can also be helped with heels (like boa) , the right poses (i remember prior to doing a fashion show for a cultural event-we were trained on how to present our legs), and the right tan (in the short legs pic, jun ji hyun’s legs looked freakishly pale and dry). though it is very impossible to transform eva’s legs into those barbie-doll legs in her photoshopped pic.
i would say it’s mostly the heels and the lighting and position [they flex/point their toes down] and then a bit of retouching lol

ehh boa was always kind of fugs to me, and her music is blah. she’s always in japan anyway, so she doesn’t even really qualify as ‘news’. anyway, it’s common knowledge that photoshop/airbrushing/touch-ups are used on all published photographs, not just in Korea.
ermmm let me give a case in point:
I saw Fann Wong (from Singapore) a few times, and she’s damn tall, about 1.74m…. and EXTREMELY skinny - half my size with legs like TWIGs - her thigh circumference is about 20cm (she was wearing shorts, and I compared with my arms - boohooo)
However, in an american magazine sometime back (when she filmed shanghai knights), the magazine took a pic that made her thighs look like elephants - it was definitly cos she was lying down, the angle was from the bottom and the lighting….
so it’s really hard to say, i guess u will have to watch their concerts/ live shows before we can say. Boa - she really has moos, that I can say, same for Koda Kumi…
oooo and gossip of the day: Jang Hyuk is SHORT. He acted in Dance of the Dragon with Fann Wong (he was supposed to be taller than Fann, see his biodata), but when I saw them at Forbidden City…… I would say he is 1.7m MAX, if not less. If you have watched the film, you will notice there are only headshots of the two of them, no full body shots when they are standing next to each other. And when they are dancing, all you see are dips and NO foot work. Don’t believe me? Check out the group picture of JangHyuk, Kwang Sang Woo, SSH, Cha Tae Hyun etc - you will realise there is no way Jang Hyuk is only a little shorter than KSW & SSH

for slightly more expensive short girl jeans, the Joe’s Jeans Provocateur have a 29-30 inch inseam so if you have anywhere from a 28 to 30 inseam, and your waist is 25-28 you can wear it with heels and it will fit almost perfectly. One pair will last you a lifetime

yeah fann is exacly my size [according to her profiles] except i might be a bit taller. i’m korean btw. from certain angles my legs look stumpy whereas in reality i can only grab skin on them. it’s just angles sometimes but photoshop helps to hide the truth
