On August 25th, 2008, the 73 year old designer showed his collection at the International Bali Fashion Week 2008 with stars, Han Chae-young and Park Shi-hu in tow.
As for Andre fashion collection, nothing new to note.

he’s so weird. i really want to know why he paints his head like that. i also find his clothes really tacky and unoriginal. they look the same every single year so i don’t know why he would say they’re his new collection. the models also look so silly wearing those clothes.

As a fashion designer myself, I don’t understand how he could become so famous, his style is obviously on the experimental/eccentric..erm alien fashion range. I don’t know anyone who this would appeal to besides maybe Queen Amidala or Princess Leia.

Love the colours except for the horizontal lines on the green outfits. Spanish theme to dresses and suits; the aqua dress is so ideal for hot weather.
Fashion can be the same styles but different fabric or colours than those used in a previous collection.
Maybe Mr. Kim can use his colours in an equestrian themed show? Purple works so well! White would be grand too. The embellishments add “wow” factor to the clothes.

i love SOME of andre’s designs. he takes the fashions of ancient korea and mixes it with modern designs to create sometime beautiful and futuristic….sometimes. I’m not into the big baggy shirts/tops he keeps doing but everything else, especially his men’s line are HOT. look at the guy in the purple! i would love to see my man wear that….or any guy wear that really he is smoking.
