Choi Min-ho bumps into Yunho of Dong-bang-shin-ki

Choiminho_yunoyunho_0829

Gold medalist in Yudo, Choi Min-ho bumped into Dong-bang-shin-ki member, Yunho at a jjim-jil-bang (Korean version of a sauna) after returning from the Beijing Olympics a few days ago. The gold medalist posted up the picture on his Cyworld on August 27th 2008. Netizens are jealous that the gold medalist had a random encounter with the DBSK member. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

I’m suprised Yunho goes to saunas
What if he were to be attacked by crazy fanboys too?

  2. 2 YOYOYO August 29, 2008 at 6:19 am

    @ Sara
doesnt guy suppose to be crazy over females? that’s weird…wow i guess korea have different culture than america…

    i want a pix w/ yunho xD

  3. 3 vertigo August 29, 2008 at 6:34 am

well congrats on his gold medal

  4. 4 Sara August 29, 2008 at 6:46 am

    @ YOYOYO
Yeah DBSK has mostly fan girls (Like me..)
But then, I wonder if there are possibilities of scary fan boys.

  5. 5 mikey August 29, 2008 at 6:47 am

YOYOYO: It’s not really in Korea. A majority DBSK fangirls fawn over slash pairings. So maybe they have a few screws loose in their head when it comes to logic.

Congrats Minho, and Yunho.. is overrated along with the rest of the members.

  6. 6 mikey August 29, 2008 at 6:47 am

There are fanboys over GIRLS. Duh. Girls’ Generation and Wonder Girls..?

  7. 7 Pualani August 29, 2008 at 6:48 am

Why would the netizens be jealous…it’s cool that both of them ran into e/o at the sauna.

  8. 8 ohgeeze. August 29, 2008 at 6:55 am

    Netizens are always jealous.
    ALWAYS. of ANYTHING.
I swear. This girl once said she was jealous of a waterbottle that Jae drinking out of once. Or a microphone that was like on their mouth. Goodness.

    Yunho looks good nonetheless.

  9. 9 허니~ August 29, 2008 at 7:05 am

i personally think it should be the other way around.

  10. 10 corrakun August 29, 2008 at 7:06 am

Who cares, there’s no way I’d be able to get into a male sauna anyway. I have no reason to be jealous.

  11. 11 ash August 29, 2008 at 7:08 am

Netizens also commented on how small both of their faces are. Again, Korea with their “small face” obsession.

Anyway, I saw another pic, but there was a third person in the picture. Wonder who that was.

  12. 12 Tiffany August 29, 2008 at 7:28 am

I will understand if netizens are jealous if Yunho took a picture with a girl, but .. how on earth can they be jealous if he is taking a picture with a guy (and someone who is famous, too)? That is just plain stupid because if that is the case, they should be screaming and crying every time a member of TVXQ takes a picture with anyone who is a member in the group. Sheesh, even then, is it wrong if Yunho wants to keep a memory where he met someone popular or a friend of his? After all, celebrities are humans, too, and they have people they look up to or fancy in the entertainment world. If netizens can be jealous over a simple picture like this one, they might as well pull a stunt and bully a female celebrity or a female fan if they meet Yunho (not saying that they should do that because they have clearly lost their minds and morals over a celebrity that they don’t even know).

  13. 13 hay hay August 29, 2008 at 7:30 am

Korean netizens are nothing but a pre-puberty national disease.

    We’ll find a cure someday…

  14. 14 teukie_oppa August 29, 2008 at 7:31 am

    athletes < musicians

    yeoo!

  15. 15 rosetta16 August 29, 2008 at 7:33 am

i whant a picswith Yunho too
    lucky guy
    ohgeeze.
im jealous of those things too lol

  16. 16 Wei Junli August 29, 2008 at 7:41 am

hmm… yunho oppa looks a bit old in this picture… hahaha

  17. 17 ash August 29, 2008 at 7:48 am

Netizens are probably more envious than jealous.

  18. 18 koko August 29, 2008 at 7:52 am

i thought choi min ho was xiah at first glance. Hahah

  19. 19 whoooo August 29, 2008 at 7:54 am

    korean netizens piss me off
    grow up.

  20. 20 hay hay August 29, 2008 at 8:08 am

I wouldn’t be surprised if the netizens form a candlelit protest outside the jjim-jil-bang. I think the whole 2002 World Cup celebration put a wrong impression on the netizens…

  21. 21 Sop August 29, 2008 at 8:09 am

    AWWW cute
it’s hard to do, but minho has managed to look cute next to yunho =) im sure yunho was proud to meet someone that garnered honor for korea, but then again, i dont think it should be the other way around. dbsk spreads korean culture a lot more than minho or other korean athletes

  22. 22 corrakun August 29, 2008 at 8:11 am

    @ teukie_oppa

Oh why haven’t I ever thought of that before, OF COURSE musicians train every day for four years to show the fruits of their labours at the Olympics. And then if they fail (and even if they win) they train every day for the next four years to do it again. My respect for musicians and the thousands of dollars they make has suddenly gone up. -___-

  23. 23 Taejus August 29, 2008 at 8:12 am

omiigosh. they’re both men taking a friendly pic. whats there to be jealous of…?

  24. 24 pandamonium August 29, 2008 at 8:13 am

Ooooh my two loves judo and yunho. woot <3

  25. 25 ooh August 29, 2008 at 8:15 am

Does this mean DBSK is in Korea atm? :O :)

  26. 26 Jasmine* August 29, 2008 at 8:21 am

LOL..yeah i’m a YUNHO fan..but i still think they should be both happy to see each other..XD

  27. 27 live4music August 29, 2008 at 8:21 am

“Netizens are jealous that the gold medalist had a random encounter with the DBSK member.” <— HAHAH! thats hilarious XD wonder if all the members went..its good to see them get a chance to relax <3

  28. 28 Masaya August 29, 2008 at 8:23 am

Yunho does have a good group of fanboys. But really Korean netizens have no reason to be jealous. They live in the same country as DBSK and they stalk those guys like everyday. I on the other hand… (singing) so far away…

  29. 29 p August 29, 2008 at 9:07 am

is that really yunho? wow i didnt recognize him and still cant believe it

  30. 30 Seri August 29, 2008 at 9:31 am

Yun ho looks nalnurshies or is it the camera?

  31. 31 Seri August 29, 2008 at 9:32 am

    nurshies? Nurished XD

  32. 32 Ainadeck August 29, 2008 at 9:35 am

    omg…yunho look thin here….

  33. 33 yokit August 29, 2008 at 9:39 am

i agree with one of the posters up there. maybe the right word would be “envious” and not “jealous”. i’m envious too! and please also remember that ‘netizens’ are not only koreans, and dbsk is, imho, more known around the world than korea’s yudo champ because of longer exposure in media so the reaction is understandable. ^-^

  34. 34 eunicelimm August 29, 2008 at 9:41 am

    :) i love yunho.

  35. 35 asianromance August 29, 2008 at 9:50 am

my question is…he brought a camera into a sauna? or maybe he ran out to go get it when he caught a glimpse of yunho. it’s so cute when famous people (okay choi min-ho isn’t THAT famous) are fans of other famous people.

  36. 36 evvy August 29, 2008 at 9:55 am

LOL at ohgeeze. Seriously people, grow up. If you want to transform into an inanimate object just to be around your idol, I must say… you should be banished to a mental institution.

But darn yeah, Choi Minho! GOLD MEDAL FOR KOREA. I think it should be the other way around too.

  37. 37 evvy August 29, 2008 at 9:56 am

And at asianromance: Camera phone? Yup.

  38. 38 okay August 29, 2008 at 9:58 am

lol that does not even look like yunho, on the other hand olympic boy looks like xiah.

  39. 39 Dottie August 29, 2008 at 10:05 am

I feel sorry that NOBODY seems to sympathize with Yunho in that it is the gold-medalist who obviously wanted to take the pic and posted it on his website.

Seriously, WHO WANTS TO HAVE THEIR PIC TAKEN AT THE SAUNA????

However, I do think it’s an immeasurable feat how far South Korea has come in the Olympics, this time second only to China, the Super-Manipulative-Freak.

And if anyone has had the chance to see Thai Cassiopeias ~ they’ll know what Sara (1st comment) is talking about.

  40. 40 Anna Bessonova #1 August 29, 2008 at 10:30 am

    “athletes < musicians

    yeoo!”

I disagree. Yunho is not a particularly talented musician. Choi, on the other hand, is a pretty good judoka who has to test his body and mind for less money and exposure then DBSK.

“However, I do think it’s an immeasurable feat how far South Korea has come in the Olympics, this time second only to China, the Super-Manipulative-Freak.”

I don’t understand this statement. There were many other nations that beat S. Korea in terms of total medal count and gold medal count.

  41. 41 Anna Bessonova #1 August 29, 2008 at 10:31 am

Also, Choi looks like a ventriloquist dummy being controlled by Yunho in that photo.

  42. 42 lollipop August 29, 2008 at 10:41 am

i dont see anything to be jealous of..haha
maybe min ho can teach yunho a couple moves or two in yudo..^^
on a side note, i cant help noticing dat minho’s face is a lot smaller than yunho..lol..maybe it’s the angle..but..haha..u know how yunho is famous with his small face compared to the other dbsk members..
i wanna have a random encounter wit a dbsk members too~~!!

  43. 43 Song August 29, 2008 at 10:43 am

How cool, bumping into each other! Yunho is so cute!

  44. 44 soju August 29, 2008 at 10:44 am

so they allow cellphones into a jjim-jil-bang, huh? interesting.

    just don’t drop your towel.

  45. 45 surprise August 29, 2008 at 11:01 am

dude. both of them are famous. i doubt they had a “surprise” meeting

  46. 46 liz August 29, 2008 at 11:08 am

Yunho, my darling… you look so thin! Working too hard. -_-

  47. 47 suck it up August 29, 2008 at 11:18 am

like someone said, it must be envy not jealousy. there’s a big difference.

  48. 48 Masaya August 29, 2008 at 11:37 am

Yes DBSK also test their body and mind (if you know their schedule) for more money and less respect.

  49. 49 Meru August 29, 2008 at 11:51 am

Wow, that’s pretty cool. I guess it’s a big deal for him because DBSK are big celebrities, he’s star-struck. Can’t really compare their talents though, since they both have their different specialties. Although being a gold medalist is a great honor to have.

  50. 50 jenfraud August 29, 2008 at 12:15 pm

i like yunho…he’s cute but im not jealous lolzz

  51. 51 angel26_j August 29, 2008 at 12:36 pm

    O_O
    How cool… How lucky…
    yunho still good…

  52. 52 Nick August 29, 2008 at 12:46 pm

LOL I’m one of the fans who say somthing like I’m jeleous of a bottle or the mic Yunho hold. Seriously, all of these are a figure of speech. The one who need to grow up is people who take the figure of speech seriously. The fans are not really jeleous. They’re actually proud of Yunho that he is a friend of someone like Choi Min Ho. If you get a chance to read thai noona and ajumma praises Yunho, it’s closed to ridiculous and true somehow in a cute way.

  53. 53 dear lord August 29, 2008 at 12:52 pm

Choi has a smaller face/head than Yunho’s. How is that even possible?

  54. 54 ... August 29, 2008 at 1:01 pm

    netizens are retarded.
yunho looks older in that picture.

  55. 55 KyuMin August 29, 2008 at 1:14 pm

I thought this was funny but hey things can happen

  56. 56 Rika August 29, 2008 at 2:02 pm

omg they get jealous over everything. >_>

  57. 57 meow August 29, 2008 at 2:13 pm

Yunho is lucky to meet Choi Min-ho.
Yunho is a mediocre (and that is being generous) singer and average dancer. Choi Min-ho is an extraordinary talent in Yudo and brought pride to his country, competing against the best athletes -in the world-.

I mean, I’m a DBSK fan, but I find it so silly how people admire their idol bands over an Olympic Athlete.

  58. 58 kk August 29, 2008 at 2:14 pm

yeah,. YUNHO should be lucky to meet a gold medallist. goodness, korean netizens (or crazy dbsg fans) dont know how to identify achievers.

  59. 59 sabrina August 29, 2008 at 2:49 pm

HOW CUTE :D yunnie is really lucky. guh~ netizens! how typical!

  60. 60 pandoracat August 29, 2008 at 3:24 pm

    the pic looks bad
yunho lost his cuteness in that photo
but yeah,,i envy the gold medalist..i want a pic with yunho too

  61. 61 Dovey August 29, 2008 at 3:35 pm

I wanna meet both of them…and be squat in the middle as I pose for a picture. XD

  62. 62 eito_suki August 29, 2008 at 4:59 pm

    athletes vs. musician.. athletes ftw~!

  63. 63 ^___^ August 29, 2008 at 6:22 pm

Jesus Christ -_-;; The context of jealousy in which the writer speaks of, expressing jealsouy by fans is not jealsouy, it’s envy. Please get the words right so we don’t start making things up in our heads please?

  64. 64 Judoka August 29, 2008 at 7:27 pm

Who Cares? Mr. Choi Min Ho is everywhere, his fame has risen(well deserved) after being the first to win gold and then displaying his emotional side of winning the gold medal. CMH seems like a shy type, but ultra nice guy and very respectful to others. I don’t think he’s handling all this fame too well since he seems so shy by nature. His nickname is supposely “North Korean Boy”, due to his babyface and small body frame. But we all know that small but ripped frame of his can’t fool anyone after destroying his taller opponents throughout the competitions. I’ve been doing Judo for over a decade and Mr. CMH’s dazzling performance displayed the true science and spirit of judo at its best against the world’s best. I don’t think even the great Tadahiro Nomura could’ve beaten CMH at this olympics, even Japan acknowleged the amazing performance. Great Job Mr. CMH and hope to see a repeat performance in 2012!

  65. 65 tia.lovee August 29, 2008 at 7:46 pm

    oh wow. look them.

i suppose they had to take a picture for keeps. in their bathrobes, no less.

  66. 66 Blahblahbon August 29, 2008 at 8:54 pm

It´s funny because winning a gold medal in the olympics is WAYYY more impressive and awesome than just being a singer so yeah, I agree.. Yunho should feel honored himself for running into him.

  67. 67 Blahblahbon August 29, 2008 at 8:58 pm

“I feel sorry that NOBODY seems to sympathize with Yunho in that it is the gold-medalist who obviously wanted to take the pic and posted it on his website.”

Only a big fat jealous retard would make such a ridiculously pathetic comment. Remember YUNHO should feel honored, Olympists are may more talented, I mean seriously people.

  68. 68 hannah02 August 29, 2008 at 8:59 pm

congrats to minho for his gold medal and lucky him for meeting DBSK. sexy yunho!! <3

  69. 69 irmakaneli August 29, 2008 at 10:09 pm

They Should have been in the Finnish version of sauna
then they would have be naked XD

  70. 70 iluvyongdaeoppa August 29, 2008 at 10:58 pm

thats cool, but it would have been even cooler if both of them were naked (just kidding!)

  71. 71 baolee August 30, 2008 at 12:13 am

    Are they back in Korea?

  72. 72 annameg August 30, 2008 at 12:34 am

    baolee:
the nth batch of gimpo airport pics is out today^^
    heading to japan for A-nation^^

  73. 73 Remee chan August 30, 2008 at 2:30 am

    hahaha
now they are jealous from a boy XD

  74. 74 Mojo August 30, 2008 at 2:49 am

I’m still looking at that picture and don’t see Yunho at all.

  75. 75 Fanboy August 30, 2008 at 3:13 am

of course fangirls are moron. hahaha

  76. 76 Hero-JaeJoong August 30, 2008 at 4:04 am

    omggg.
yes speaking as a fangirl,i am jealous !
hahaa.did’nt know Yunnie still has time to go for saunas !
but well yeah,i guess both are lucky to bump into each other !
one’s a gold medalist in sports, while the other is in one of the biggest group in korea and conquering other countries as well.

  77. 77 riki August 30, 2008 at 6:08 am

yunho was in the sauna too long or he’s been in japan too long cause he looks sick. he needs to eat. what is with this super skinny look everyone is going for nowadays. junjin looks practically dead now. KOREA PLEASE FEED YOUR CELEBRATIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  78. 78 Bloops August 30, 2008 at 8:13 am

i remember back in the days when yunho used to have a really nice muscular athletic body, but on that picture he just looks… famished. and damn that other guy looks so much like xiah

  79. 79 BlackfanofAsia August 30, 2008 at 11:54 am

Well, I am a TVXQ fan, but I am not one of those creepy stalkerish ones. All I have to say about this is that some netizens can take things to the extreme. I am glad that both are taking their talents far.

To me, being an athlete and being a singer is the same thing…you have fans (some crazy, some not so crazy). I don’t care that they had a picture taken or who was the one who was honored. All I care about is that they are happy and are friends. :3

  80. 80 kookee August 31, 2008 at 4:09 am

Choi Min-ho looks adorable (if you ignore the fact that he can kill you if he wanted to). Congratulations to him for being a top olympian.

Yunho looks starved and sickly. LSM should be considerate to his “cash cows”.

I think people are being overly harsh on Yunho just because he is more popular and has more money. Both guys made many sacrifices to get where they are today, so we should not go on a bashing spree on either guy. In all honesty, they probably were both “star struck” when they met each other in the sauna.

  81. 81 Jazzy August 31, 2008 at 6:36 am

    LUCKYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    YUNHO <3

  82. 82 Lisa August 31, 2008 at 9:54 am

lol~ people~ Netizens are just jealous because Choi Min-ho got to meet Yunho and took a picture with him. That’s all, its not that big of a deal~ its like a fan thingy~~ since the fans always want to meet their idols in real life

  83. 83 kurissu August 31, 2008 at 11:43 am

Either way, they are both lucky xD

  84. 84 LMAO September 1, 2008 at 9:07 am

agreed that envious and jealous are too different things, but if someone’s actually freaking out about this they need to get slapped in the head. i would very willingly bet yunho felt flippin’ honoured to have met cmh.

  85. 85 invisibelle September 3, 2008 at 1:20 am

that’s really awesome that they both go to a jimjilbang. I figured famous people go to hotel spas or something.

  86. 86 Olikier September 4, 2008 at 4:25 am

Till now I didn’t know Yunho but around the world Min Ho is famous since a long time and a lot more since Beijing. I really love his fantastic judo.

    http://kyleolikier.over-blog.com/

  87. 87 Alexey September 4, 2008 at 1:05 pm

Your statement is ridiculous, the athlete could be famous in your country but not around the world. Now, if you are talking about Phelps or Isinbayeva…
And stop assuming things. Yunho didnt say anything about this guy, and like someone said, maybe he is the fanboy, after all Yunho was an athlete too.

  88. 88 Break September 25, 2008 at 5:43 pm

Im so frustrated wit this. Why do ppl hv to care so much about celebrities taking pic 2gthr? Im fed up.. do ths site have a better thing to discuss that are more informative. They are just meet and taking pic 2gthr..so what’s wrong?
