Boa says bring on America!

Do I hear America calling?

No…

As we know, many of the popstars in Korea dream of making it big in the U.S. That’s understandable because the music market is small in Korea. But Boa is already a big star in Japan-why would she want to jump the cultural gap to try to make it in the U.S.? I don’t understand.

Boa will unveil plans for her launch into the U.S. market by holding a press conference on the 10th (Seoul time) at the Imperial Palace Hotel (2pm). And using the catch phrase, “Best of Asia, Bring on America,” the pint-sized singer hopes that America will come knocking.

Will it?

With the opening of the U.S. office last month, Boa is S.M Entertainment’s biggest asset so it makes sense for them to try to launch her in the U.S. That’s what SM thinks. But what about in terms of the U.S. music industry perspective? Does Boa have what it takes to be successful?

This should get interesting…

Nope. She’s not going to make it. ESPECIALLY SINCE BEYONCE AND BRITNEY SPEARS ARE COMING OUT WITH NEW ALBUMS. Not going to happen. It’s the worse time of the year for a new artist to come out. Everyone know that when you release something the same time that Beyonce does, best believe that you will be shoved under a rug. Nope, better try when Beyonce is gone. And I don’t think that’s going to happen for awhile.

AND Christinia Aguilera is coming out with a greatest hits CD and a couple new songs. Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, AND Beyonce?!

    THAT’S SUICIDE
