Ayumi of Sugar has blossomed into a gorgeous girl-reminiscent of Sung Yuri. After staring at the before and after picture for a while, the 24 year old seems to have the same features, but the hair has changed and the baby fat is gone… could that be all?

The reason she doesn’t look much different in the after pic is that the before pic looks like an after pic, too. Maybe she wasn’t born with those anime eyes.

You should know the first, fatty picture, is a fake. Ayumi had already debuted in 2003 and she looked nothing like that.
Maybe she just lost a lot of weight idk but there’s scarier-looking recent pictures of her out there where her face looks sooooo bony.
that ‘before’ pic of her is after she had her plastic surgery. i saw a pic of her before her debut with sugar and pre-surgery and let me tell you she looked nothing like she does now. those pre-surgery pics are hard to find now though cause i tried going back to the site that i saw it on and it not longer exists. but yeah ayumi is one of the amazing results of plastic surgery cause she is absolutely gorgeous now.
i think she lost weight and changed her style (now she puts on a mature serene smile rather than a cute one)- when you see her live- you can still see her- but only skinnier. And she has been getting slowly but progressively skinnier since Sugar debuted in 2002.
I love her previous look- now she looks like something SM chewed and spitted out. I think part of it is the criticism that she seems too japanese.

It’s a common misconception, but yes, you’re right. She’s full-blooded Korean, but she grew up in Japan. She’s acting in Japan these days, too.

Ummm….what surgery are you talking about, Popseoul? She looks like she just matured and lost her baby fat. Maybe you should add a different BEFORE picture. You can’t even tell parts of her features.

I lost weight recently, too, and my pictures from 2-3 years ago looks a bit too different. I didn’t get any plastic surgery either unless I didn’t know about it and it was without my consent and I bet Popseoul would say I had plastic surgery.

Stop denying the fact that she didn’t get plastic surgery just because you guys are fans. Losing weight doesn’t make make your eyes bigger and your jaw line different and everything else different. Look at celebs like Mary-Kate, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan and more…when they lost weight, their faces where the same, just they looked thinner. You guys are only in denial because you spend too much time obsessing over these celebs who obviously did plastic surgery.
But anyways, I think Ayumi looked cute when she debuted and now she’s beautiful but different looking because she obviously did surgery.
