Unlike a certain someone who has been “controlling (his) mind and menu with chicken breasts and vegetables”, Se7en has actually put his money where his mouth is.
How?
Well, Se7en has just launched his new official Myspace page. His English skills are infinitely better than Magic Feet, mega U.S. producer Dark Child is backing him up and the man definitely has soul when he sings (in Korean).
So the million dollar question is-is this enough?
Like Rain and Boa, Se7en is another Korean pop-star who has been eying a slice of America for quite some time. Last year, POPSEOUL! was disappointed by his performance (or lack of) at the launch party in New York. The Rain rival must have been working under the radar since because now, Se7en looks ready for the American spotlight. But again, is America ready for him?

I agree with Meru. Were not talking about the CFs done nor the special events attended here. Stick to the topic. It’s all about making it in the US. Sure Se7en has not done any Hollywood movie unlike Rain. But has Rain’s appearance in Speed Racer paved way for his popularity in the US? No.
Se7en here is focusing in his US debut. If Rain really wants to make it in the US, then he has to work hard on that. And believe me, anyone trying to make it in another country should learn the country’s language first. That’s pretty basic. And that’s what Se7en is doing.
And by the way… Rain should really really decide on what he wants to become. A recognized singer or a respectable actor in US? He can’t be both at the same time. At least for now.

Kimberly, no doubt the American industry will put a lot of things in his face- girls, drugs, but he’ll have to be strong.
I love his music, although the beginning of one of his songs sounded like Justin Timberlake’s My Love. Gotta watch that! Anyway, I miss his hair.

I can honestly say that I am impressed with his English. It’s pretty good and gotten a lot better from what I heard a few years ago. I think he’s got a better chance of making it here compared to BoA but I guess we’ll see.
I guess se7en will do well in U.S .. I hope so . He speaks English very well.

According to this website and the stills it looks like se7en is going to release a music video sometime. I have to admit the song is growing on me. Se7en’s vocals aren’t bad, and I like that an American site is the first to come out with the news. This all might mean some sort of buzz is starting up for him. Good luck se7en!
