MBC hopes so.
MBC has another new music drama this Fall, “Beethoven’s Virus” – the premise of the drama follows how the the musicians who have given up on music and the musicians who were kicked out of the music scene come together to form an orchestra. Sounds exciting.
The stars of the drama, Jang Geun-suk (who plays the trumpet), Lee Jia (violinist), Kim Myong-min (conductor) performed at the press conference on September 3rd at the Songnam Art Center.
Beethoven’s Virus will infect television sets everywhere on September 10 on MBC, Wednesday/Thursday at 9:55pm.

kim young min is here. I really respect him as an actor. He is really good and awesome actor. He won an award of the best actor. I think it was daejang award of I said it right. But I am so watching this, lee jia is here too and of course jang jeun seuk!! Excited!!!

Nah, I don’t think it’s like Nodame Cantabile, other than it being a classical music drama. It doesn’t look like a comedy either. Seems kind of interesting if there is no cliche romance.
maybe because jang geun suk is in it. he’s just hot!
Well, I guess it could help more Koreans get interested in Western classical music.
conflict seems the same: stuck up perfectionist who hates “inferior” people slowly thaws out & becomes likable. struggling young people get spat on, screw up, finally achieve their dream.
The plot sounds similar to this other Japanese orchestra drama comedy

kim Myeong min is such a good actor! I absolutely hated his character in ‘white tower’ (which happens to be my all time favorite drama)! When he got cancer, I said, ’see! If you hadn’t been so mean!’ I’ll watch it just for him.
I just got chills, which is a good thing. I’m going to love it.
Nodame Cantabile was meticulously done & was applauded for it prduction. Beethovon Virus is yet to be critiqued; but
whoever invested in this Virus might have a preference in classical music.
this is something to look forward to with LJA, i like her, she’s a good actress…. i will definitely watch this series.

you know. the love triangles, everyone who happens to be connected, the son of a business, cancer.. blahblah. oh and of course every person seems to have had that childhood love.

i hope this drama comes to the net with eng subs soon, so we all can check it out. so far it seems to be quite ordinary: romance and shallow subject covering. jang geun suk is hot, though.
lja is is not only pretty. shes also a great actress in the the story of four gods…excited for this new drama. beauty and brains for lja…

Oh,yes! You can say I have been infected with beethoven virus… I love the drama. You really don’t have to be into the classical to love it.. really worth it.
Kim Myung Min is the best.Even from the first episodeI gothooked because of his unbelievable acting.I honestly believe that guy…I loved him,hated him,felt sad for him, was happy to see him make that crooked smile when he listens to the girl`s recordings…I can`t believe I`m completely taken by his act.Anybody there who can tell me where I can also check out his other dramas pls tell…..
this drama is unbelievably good and the acting is breathtaking. especially by Kim Myung Min (who plays the conductor)-

This is one of the best dramas this year. Love the interaction between Jang Geun Suk and Kim Myong Min!!!! Why did it have to end, oh well back to my other predictable dramas
