Every healthy male in Korea must serve 2 years of mandatory military service-and stars are no exception. While many of the stars seem to favor going to the military in their mid to late 20’s, perhaps thinking it would be easier, it’s not. The stress and physical hardship that they endure is the same as everyone else. So after being released from the army, some stars look worse for wear, while others become sexier than ever.

although some of the guys actually look much younger and fresher after army,some look like they’ve grown alot older ><

Very simple, he has not yet received the enlistment notice. Normally they will be enlisted right after their 28th birthday. I think they can have the health checking few years before enlistment. I heard that Lee Jun Ki had his health checked more than a year ago. Won Bin received the enlistment notice in Oct 2005 to enter military in Nov 2005.
p.s. About your last question, sorry, my wrong interpretation in previous post. What Won Bin said in interviews was “when the time comes, he will enter.”

You still don’t get my point. From day one, he has already made it clear that it is every Korean male’s responsibility to take military duty. By the time he has to be enlisted, he will enter. Nearly every interview from 2001, he has to answer the same question being asked by reporters. If you are trying to escape from military duty like the other three, will you answer those questions like WB did? Instead, they would avoid talking anything related to military. Get my point now?
Anyway, it’s good your star (SSH) has did his military duty. As for WB, I hope he will take it easy and move on.

Maybe somehow after seeing naked comrades and God knows the kind of hazing and homosexual advances that go on at an army camp; one of two extremes will happen. Either they become so masculine to ensure their ‘dignity’ or they mellow to join the other side.

This kind of topic people will decide their choice base on the pictures you put (if not a fan). Better not put picture. I choose Won Bin. He always look so sexy to me! All of them looks fine. Two years your look will not change much, only changes in hair style.

i voted jang hyuk, i think he benefited most from 2yrs service to the country. his body post-military is like woah, plus his acting has really improved.

becos he was doing rehabilitation till July 2007. He needed to get a total rest that there’s no project for him. But wonbin will star in the movie “Mother”. The film shoots in fall and projects an early 2009 release.
i dn’t know it’s true or not. I heard that,after that film, Won bin has to undergo an operation to remove the screws in his knee.0_O does that mean there’re screws in his knee now???
