Labelled now as “world star” and 4 months pregnant, Jeon Do-yeon came out to promote her new romantic comedy, “My Dear Enemy” (멋진 하루’) with actor, Ha Jung-woo on September 17th.
Ah hello? “World star?”
Jeon Do-yeon won the “best actress award” at Cannes last year for her role in “Secret Sunshine”, but does make her a “world star”? If so, that would put her at the same level as Rain and Kim Yun-jin. And we know that one of them is not.
“My Dear Enemy” opens in theaters everywhere (in Korea) on September 24th, 2008.

she’s good actress, one of the best in Korea actually. She’s better than a lot of A-list Hollywood stars so yeah i think she deserves the ‘world star’ title.

well, you’re right girl! Compared to any Hollywood actress, she can go unconventional in terms of acting. She can go naked in movies but doesn’t end up like a pornstar. She acts naturally, and can deliver emotions that are not overacting enough unlike some overrated Hollywood actress who do nothing but just unleashing their sexiness and kick some butts in action movies (just because you do the action stuff doesn’t make you a GREAT ACTRESS!). Americans are damn weak in terms of emotional aspect of drama.
another thing, she ain’t your neighborhood plastic surgery victim unlike Cameron Diaz, Madonna, Rose McGowan whose faces are now melting.
