Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young are thinking of someone else

Kwonsangwoo_20080918

What the?

Are they suppose to be getting married? There is about as much chemistry going on as two dead fish.

Kwon Sang-woo and Son Taeyoung showcased their love for each other in the October issue of W Magazine (2008). Usually, W comes out with provocative pictures, but this one is definitely a snore. Both man and soon-to-be wife are staring blankly into space-now that’s what you call love.

The concept of the photo shoot was “A moment like this.” Instead it should be titled, “A moment too late,”

Check out the teaser pictures below:

Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo will exchange their “I do’s” on September 28th.

  3. 3 Tasha September 18, 2008 at 2:48 pm

  5. 6 ss September 18, 2008 at 2:57 pm

I think popseoul seems to have a strong attitude towards this couple!

  6. 7 PopyourSoul September 18, 2008 at 3:32 pm

did you wanna see them naked or something? i like the b/w photo.

  7. 8 Dottie September 18, 2008 at 3:47 pm

Hahahaha, I have to say I actually agree with Popseoul.

If this is a publicity stint to prove how much they love each other ~ it’s an absolute failure.

But they’re gonna get married on the 28th regardless and that’s when the time-bomb starts ticking.

Not being a wet-blanket or anything. In this age and day ~ marriage is not what people think anymore and with the kind of money and influence and skeletons between these two.

Well… like I said ~ just a matter of time.

  8. 9 nozomi05 September 18, 2008 at 3:48 pm

don’t really feel the love. don’t think this marriage will last… i am not a big kwon sang woo fan, so nobody can tell me that i am anti because i like the guy, its just that i think he could have picked someone better… aw well, as they say love is blind.

i hope i am wrong and they DO last… (but i’m not holding my breath)

Those are clearly mannequins in the photos.

  10. 11 Diana September 18, 2008 at 3:56 pm

    Woof..*snore*

I do feel these stars pain though, it could all be an act for the sake of their careers, because once they marry, especially the men, their careers sink.

  11. 12 asianromance September 18, 2008 at 3:57 pm

My guess is that they don’t really want to take the pictures but for the sake of making money, agreed. I heard Son Tae Young already had a cold when they did the shot on the stairs. If i were them, I would be too tired and irritated by the shoot to show chemistry. She’s probably thinking about how the cold will mess up her wedding and he’s probably hoping he doesn’t catch it.

  13. 14 Liz September 18, 2008 at 4:44 pm

popseoul, i think you are right on. they really should be looking intensely hot into each other’s eyes. where’s the passion and hunger for one another in the close-up? **snore, snore cuz it’s a bore, bore**

  14. 15 s123 September 18, 2008 at 5:29 pm

  17. 18 spha September 19, 2008 at 12:26 am

Yeah, to be honest, the pics are lacking. Then again~ even married/ engaged couples are seriously conservative in Korea, so I am not at all surprised.

  25. 26 Rayne September 19, 2008 at 9:59 am

aww i think these are good as “passion that runs deep underneath” LOL

x] maybe in the first picture the idea was to look into the distance together (not stare into blank voids)

    very electric.

  26. 27 noir September 19, 2008 at 10:39 am

As for the title, “A Moment Like This”…. I’m not really not getting it! The title the best fit this is “We’re Just Got Married!” hahahah

  40. 42 Chris September 30, 2008 at 4:46 pm

I think subjectivity aside, the photos were fashion shoots. And frankly, I don’t think it was a good idea at all to have done it. If they were meant to be wedding shots for the typical wedding album, it’s no different from any of my friends’ albums done locally. Yup! I don’t believe in contrived poses as wedding keepsakes. Unfortuately, that is the trend these days. But they’re like any young couple.

Don’t think they should be taken as yardsticks for the success of a marriage. Important thing is both girl and mum like each other and that is a heck of a relief for the guy.

From the way she dated in the past, it’s clear her aim was to marry. Come on people, if you don’t get out, you’re not getting anywhere near the wedding date! You just gotta keep in circulation to increase your chances. Is it wrong for a girl to dump a guy who doesn’t fit in with her world? Nope! I’ve done it many times and I’m glad else I’d never have met my beloved husband. Why, I could be married to a louse if I was less choosy!

She found a great guy – a protective one, and he found a girl he’s been dreaming of all this time. Yea, she’s a little boring but so what? A guy doesn’t need hype and rollercoaster rides after a hard day’s work!

All the best to the newly weds!
