Is it just me, or is Sohee of Wondergirls on everything?!
The 16 year-old talker singer seems to be the Dancing Gorilla’s favorite of all the girls now! With her movie debut in, ”I Like It Hot” earlier this year, her newly acquired “sex appeal”, and the fact that she’s the only Wondergirl good enough to attend events with JYP, you can’t get away from her!
For the upcoming 2nd Seoul International Family Film Festival, Sohee starred in a very confusing and blah promo video, with awkwardly long takes of her face. In what aspect this relates to the festival, I’m not sure.
The festival starts October 22nd and goes till the 28th, at the CGV Yongsan and Yongsan I-Park Mall Area in Korea.

She’s not a typical beauty, but she’s cute. It’s nice to see a Korean star without eyelid surgery.

Sohee doesn’t opt for a singing career at first. She actually wants to be an actress. But somehow, JYP decided to debut her as a singer in a girlgroup so that she would get more publicity before venturing to her desired career. Rather than being a no-namer in the entertainment industry, it’s better to have more publicity first by putting her in a girlgroup. It’s just one of JYP’s strategies.

well that photo was not that good, some of her photos are really pretty, atleast nothing in her face is artificial not like others *coughs, that video was so dam boring but what else could she do if she was asked to just sit and we’ll do the rest, I also read about how she wanted to debut as an actress but instead JYP put her to a wonder girls first then acting as second after she is publicly known. but she’s really good in her debut movie, hope she’ll be given a good break

Ok, It’s obvious that JYP and UGLY PIG NOSED Sohee have something going on, she can’t SING and as far as acting I didn’t see enough to judge. I often wonder why talented singers are over looked, it has to be because of the image that the industry sets. It’s sad that so many non singers and unattractive people (looks and attitude) make it. JYP needs to get someone his older.

I watched “I Like it Hot”, and honestly, her acting wasn’t superb. It wasn’t horrible, but it was nothing that would grasp my attention and make me believe that she was really talented in acting.
So, that kind of leads me to believe that Sohee is kind of riding on the Wonder Girls into acting…
You guys seriously do not get the meaning behind the promo video? It’s not really anything deep at all. You just have to look at it simply.
First of all, the movie is set during the Summer and Korea’s Summers are hella hot and humid, so moving around a lot or even talking when you feel really hot, is tiring and energy draining, hence the limited amount of movement throughout the whole promo video.
Second, what do people do with eggs? They eat them, right? Well, the people in the video thought nothing more of the egg except for that it is food to eat. Then the fact that out of nowhere, the egg hatches and out comes this chick, is just out of the ordinary. However, the shock of everyone there is very toned down because using too much energy when surprised will cause them to become even more tired. So they basically expressed “dead” shock and then just go back to wasting away at watching the TV show.
Lastly, the fact that Sohee’s character took away the egg from her male acting counterpart, probably has something to do with the storyline. Maybe they play brother and sister in the movie and they like annoying each other, so Sohee’s character put the egg back in the bowl just to annoy her brother.
I thought it was a pretty funny promo video. Guess you guys don’t watch a lot of indie films. Oh well…

sohee is everyone’s favorite. i love sun ye but sohee is so adorable you can’t help but like her. she has that “girl next door” thing going for her and being the weakest vocalist and the youngest member a lot of people are pulling for her to succeed and get better which she has.

I didn’t get the promo, but Sohee looks cute in this pic. People are so mean to her. Yes her singing leaves something to be desired, but she’s not ugly, and her and Yoobin are the main charisma in that group. I hope that she can branch out into acting if that is her dream.
